I followed this couple long before they started when I met them in the van down by the river... no actually the home depot parking lot. They came and we shared a home craft beer in my log cabin high in the mountains. Nice to meet them and see their awesome life and adventures. Follow them on youtube.

I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I was scrolling looking on how to videos on building a container home. My husband and I want to do it together. I started with your oldest video and watched the videos pertaining on "how to". Skipped many, don't like the sponsored, adds, or the videos that don't have anything to do with building a container home. If you have a harbor freight in your area it’s I think it’s called predator I could be wrong but their pumps are a puma pump Tuesday stage. The gas motor is 13 horse on a 30 gallon tank check into it or a champion two-stage 30 gallon tank with an old gas motor, you could be paying more for that one but it’s a longer lived. I know I used to sell them.

Yeah, galvanized welding is dangerous. Turning that stuff into smoke is gnarly. I use a fan to evacuate when I weld galvanized.

I am self taught! Some processes are harder than others to learn, but MIG welding is one of the easiest in my opinion. :)

Enjoyed the video. Unrelated question about a previous video 'upgrade to your RV batteries to Lithium' last year. I was wondering if the lithium house battery is also charged by your RV's alternator when driving. I've seen on another channel that the increased current draw for charging lithium batteries, that have been discharged to a lower value, could burn up the vehicle's alternator if it is not rated for high amperage output. I didn't see a follow up to the lithium install on your channel, so I assume that all is good.

You can get an expansion tank for your compressor. You can leave your compressor next to your power supply and run a hose to your expansion tank closer to where you’re working.
