Installing my new Shimano Ultegra R8000 Carbon SPD-SL Pedals 

did you buy them? are shimano 105 SPD SL good enough?

@@comedyman112 yes its really good. I used my 105 since 2012 and its performance didnt even change. I used like 4 pairs of cleats with that 105 pedals and Im still using it with my other trainer bike.

@Mark Stengel Thank you very much for watching my presentation even my English is crap and Im really glad that you enjoyed it. I love that Ultegra PD-R8000 pedals, its easier to use than the 105 very quick to clip on. I think the hole opening for cleats is a bit bigger. Thanks again for watching.

I only show how to install the pedals. If you dont know how to use Allen key or Torque Wrench then bring your bike to the shop.

@Michael Doherty - Oh ok thanks for reminding me that, its just that my purpose here was just to show the installing and uninstalling the pedals. I was struggling myself on my first time of doing this and I tried to find a video like this and there was none. So I thought I had to make this video so that what happened to me, wont happen to others.. cheers

Jessiebuela and I think people can appreciate this but if they DON’T use grease they may find it impossible to remove the pedals. I wasn’t trying to judge. Just pointing out an important aspect of wrenching which is to use grease in a lot of situations.

@@thepatternforms859Never heard anyone use threadlocker on pedals thread only use grease or anti seize. Bottom bracket thread I don’t like using anti seize as can come Slighlty loose sometimes depend on what bike so I use grease if don’t work I use medium strength loctite 243 on bb threads but never on pedals threads if coming loose means crank arms have bad threads

I only used hand tighten on the pedal because I believe that it dont need to be tight, just not loose and since I put it, I never removed it again until now

Madali lang naman sir basta practice ka muna ng pagtanggal at pagclip ng nakatigil ang bike, maraming beses left and right kung pwede para mamemorize ng reflex mo or muscle memory.
