There are no vacuum hoses. Only hoses to fuel tank vent solenoid. Pressure fuel line to high pump on engine, vapor line to activated carbon canister and vapor line to filler neck to shut off pump. This a bottom referencing modular reservoir assembly with jet pump cast in plastic under fuel pump to pull full in to keep bucket full as it cools the pump, lubricate the pump, make the pump last WAY longer than running on "E" all of the time. Very small amount of dielectric grease should have been placed on the connectors terminals (Sold at home improvement stores) Also the outside and inside sock type filters should been inspected for visible debris and dark color as every fill up has a tiny amount of dirt, dust and other debris that stays in the tank and ruins new pump and void warranty near black or heavily discolored. GM recommends flushing the entire tank with near boiling water, agitate a dozen times, wipe out with paper towels then air dry. It is included in service information included with visual inspection. Bottom sock filter maybe 150 micron rating while inside under the pump is a 70 micron sock type filter. Use fused jumper wire at relay/fuse center to un-used "Green" cavity marked fuel pump to B+ to measure amperage or lab scope to see brush / commutator activity as it should be smooth. Using repeating visual cues you can count the number of plates on the armature, calculate the speed. An uneven visual or low amps means motor is worn. If normal visual yet low pressure with high amp draw means filter(s) maybe plugged. This a pump for fuel and not a garbage disposal. A clean tank with fuel purchased at high volume station, clean terminals in connector, small amount of dielectric grease, filter changed in timely fashion (If Any) and quality pump from ACDelco or Delphi should last 150,000 miles or 5,000 hrs of service. I have the same Fuel Pump from Amazon. There is a white sack/pouch/bag inside the unit, should it be removed prior to installation? This can be seen on your new pump at the 10:10 minute mark.
So that car when I bought it engine was locked so when I was done with the engine tried to star the car but nothing and since it didn’t had no power so I didn’t get any trouble codes
