So happy I’ve got my DRL Woking again, just in time for the MOT! (Which was now 2 or 3 weeks ago).
Looks so fresh! I hope this video can help some of you out.

Good job man. Interesting to see the wheel arch as well, the vents nicely point toward the outside of the car, on my gen the vent point underneath the car which somehow doesn't feel quite right!

I'm pretty sure the silver triangle means it's a adaptive cornering light headlamp and the black means it's just the normal bixenon 🤔🤷‍♂️

they're black edition lamps i think off the s-line which tbh make the rs3 look so much better for me

The black actually represents non adaptive lights, whereas the silver corners represents adaptive lights! Black certainly looks better though

The black boxes on the bottom of your old headlights are the modules that control the adaptive side of the headlights. Hence why the new ones don’t have it as they are standard not AFS. It’s pretty simple to code put the error on the dash via VCDS too. Have you managed to sort it yet?

Ahhhhh I see!! I beloved they were the DRL control modules but this makes way more sense thank you! I haven’t yet coded it out mate, I still need to buy VCDS. However I’m getting the car tuned soon so I’ll get it done at the same time. Thanks again for that info mate

Thanks a lot mate! To be honest pal I didn’t really notice I had the adaptive lights... they move but nothing that bothers me, I personally prefer the looks of my new ones 😎

I have the same problem in my right DRL, it doesnt work, do i really need to change the whole headlight or it has a module to change? When i turn the right blinker the DRL blinks a little bit, i dont think it is burned, hope you can help…

Hi mate, the DRL LED is a real paid to replace on its own, you’d have to separate the lens casing and replace it which will be a right pain. I advise you check the wiring first, make sure it’s not just a bad connection!

Those are the stock calipers and brake disc for the RS3, right?. Can you somehow confirm the diameter of the disc please?

They are indeed mate, OEM discs are 370mm

@@AutoBay Gotcha!. thanks for sharing, i own an S3 and i have a set of RS6 brake calipers so looking into what rotor size is perfect for my 18" OZ wheels. Thanks for the video as well, i hope i don't have to go through that struggle of changing my headlights lol

@@AutoBay lol..... To upgrade to the zenon drl headlights I'd need adaptors. And the mirrors you sold me. There on my car I showed you my car prior to fitting them. So with the silver mirrors do you think I should go now for silver rims or stay gun metal grey lol.
