Why would Quadtratec supply the wrong flasher module? That does not bode well for their products. Not exactly confidence inspiring. Looks great and I plan to get a set of these for my TJ but what is the process to ensure they send the correct flasher?

I didn't install the flasher in this video because it's hard to show where it's at. Somehow I ended up getting the flasher for a CJ. I didn't know it at the time of this video. I ended up buying the EP-26 LED flasher for my model year TJ (1998), and it still didn't work. I'm now going to try some LED resistors, along with the EP-26 flasher. Calling Quaratac tomorrow to see what I should do. Make sure that you get the taillights specific to your model year, because the '97s are different then the '06s.

Nope, they are red. I think that I showed the turn signals at the end of the video.

It's cheaper just to replace the factory taillight bulbs with LED bulbs , new flasher in steering column and the reverse is much brighter !

These have a better look imo. I now have maxbilt taillights tho.

@joshritchie_media all that is subjective. Don't trust any of these Chinese fixtures with multiple LED bulbs. Very easy for one bulb to go out and the bulb is not replaceable.

hello ... is the turn signal orange or red? i am in europe and orange is compulsory. it seems that we can make the modification but I can not find anything? thank you

@@vidal.damien I do not... i would assume you would need a tail ligt rated for your transportation laws. Like here in the U.S., these tail lights are approved by the DOT (Department of Transportation)

Installed these and ran into problems because Best Buy used the ground on the left stock rear tail light to run a back up camera wire and did something else that no one has been able to figure out. They were ok for a couple of days, but now the reverse white lights come on with the red stop lights when braking. Can't return these to Quadratec because Best Buy fried them, the brown wire is so freaking hot, you can't even touch it, it's a safety hazard now! Best Buy techs are incompetent.

@@joshritchie_media Went to Best Buy on 4 occasions, one tech was less skilled than the other. Just located a great local auto electrician who does car radio installs, back up cameras and is also a master mechanic who knows Jeeps extremely well. Going there very soon.
