The reducer is what you use to get the bearings out, you get a tool made up like a valve guide removal tool, place it in the reducer and give it a clout with a hammer, the reducer pushes the opposite bearing out via the spacer tube. It takes about three minutes max.
Blind bearing puller is what I always use for these. (concept is same as the cut bolt) Relatively inexpensive (I paid less than $50) and when you use it once it pays for itself in satisfaction and speed. I've used it 3 or 4 times in 20 years.
Hi I just looked at your video. I’m having trouble after doing my bearings on my xvs 650. The flange you have was it supposed to go whare you thought it did. I got a knocking noise coming from the axel now. Like the spacer might be loose.
