You are not supposed to rev the engine just after installing the exhaust. Just the ecu and the engine accept the new exhaust. We are supposed to leave it at idle for few minutes.
Bhai i live in noida sector 75 (planning to buy Mark 2). And my question is ki Red Rooster with DB killer k saath police challan ka dikaat toh nhi hoga na? Or ye govt standard jo 80-90 decibals se jyada sound hai? with dbkillers?
Very genuine question ! Dikkat hogi Bro. I dont drive this machine daily. I take it out for casual and group rides and preferrable not in a traffic prone area. However one good point about RED ROOSTERS is you use the clutch and the sound literrally vanishes. The crackles, the loudness, the sound all is under your control. And yes your bike breathes in more air
Single seat and cowl is RE genuine accessories. You can get it with any dealer. My bar ends are from the VARDENCHI (custom brand that makes awesome accessories)😀
Hey it sounds gr8 after installing RRP exhaust. Does it sound good after installing db killer i mean better than stock? As well as have u checked your mileage after installing free flow exhaust?
That means so much to me. Checking the mileage is more of a hassle since I enjoy this machine once/ twice a weak. With DB killer you will have more treble and less bass which actually sounds creepy to my ears and to the others as well . However it’s subjective and also depends on ur riding style ( office commute / chill out solo /group rides) As an ex proud owner of GT650 , I would recommend using RRP’s without DB killers. It suits the machine and its mechanics ☺️
Also , if you wish to use DB killer with RRP’s , it’s better to enjoy the stocks. It’s not bad at all. But RRP’s without DB killer is one of the sweetest I have ever heard. It’s something that both you and the public around you can enjoy listening rather than giving others a vibe of a hooligan

Just be aware that if you are stuck in traffic during the hot summer months, you may not appreciate the heating. It drove it 195 kilometres yesterday. There is no extreme heat to worry about. GO FOR IT, DUDE!
I ride with an incredible group of TRIUMPH owners. Choice is a subjective thought. Close your eyes and you have the answer. I still don’t crave for any other bike apart from my GT. Do your research, understand your style. And you will have the answer. Technical comparison? I am not the right person. If you asked me? Go for a GT-650 ( you will feel that vintage aura around you ) with no compromise in the speed/ performce or throttle. Plus it’s the best from the RE as a brand. Speed 400 obviously is not the best bike from TRIUMPH.
Do you feel a tak tak sound when shifting to 2nd from 1st... Im getting a tak tak sound while shifting to 2nd.. all other gears from 2nd to 6th is butter smooth but i can hear tak tak sound when i shift 2nd from 1st. Bhai Do u feel same sound like this !? Is that normal to hear
Bro trust me. No such issues for me. I heard a couple of folks saying about this , but fortunately no such issues for me. Try getting used to the mechanics of the machine. May be it’s just overthinking. Happens naturally with everyone . Also genuine it could be an issue as well. Try getting it checked at the center
RRP is one of the best brands when it comes to RE exhausts. Trust me no adverse affect on Engine or fuel efficiency. I made a trip of toal 400 kms on them. The mileage was next/close to normal. Cant complain at all.

Ideally its not. But should certainly be easier to handle compared to without DB killers. I would still suggest without DB killers if you dont use the machine daily. It breathes easily without DB killers
No bro. But one of my seniors recommended me to get back to normal air filter. Since the premium after market filters have larger pores in them. Which untimately doesn’t make sense if you are travelling in high pollution cities. My experience has been good. But let me update you once I reinstall the original air filter after my second service
No. All after market exhausts are illegal. Be careful about the area your are driving in . I think untill n unless you creat havoc in public , it should be ok
Yes, I noticed it during the delivery itself. Some of the folks who have been riding RE since years told me to ignore it😅 But yes it feels weird with a closer look.
This variant looks so odd compared to first version( nothing beats Mr clean i.e chrome ) And woh delivery wali scripted part sucks...just be real and direct with the scene
