HUGE SHOUT-OUT to the guys at Bigtent Outdoor Equipment, Aaron and Ben! You guys were so nice and were so great in doing such a spontaneous install of the UltraSwing for me that Saturday morning :D
I've been a big fan of RIGD Supply for the past couple years and have been following them since near the beginning! I've been wanting to pick up one of these UltraSwings for a while now that were specific to the 5th gens. I really like the design and the though process that went into designing these tire carriers. I can't wait to put them to the test when I do my big camping trip in September :D
I've been hoping and wishing that somebody from Canada would start selling these and I'm so grateful that these guys were able to grab a few - thanks Aaron! (including Multi-Fit's in case you do not have a 5th Gen 4Runner!).
All that's left is the Camera Relocation Kit, which will be installed on the following Tuesday (that install video will come out next week! So stay tuned!) as well as ordering probably the old drop-down table (because it's cheaper and is basically the same, minus the bottle opener, which I don't really need) I thought I wanted the new one, but Aaron was right, it's really not that much different. And, lastly, the license plate light! Gotta pick up one of those too!
And, as you will have noticed in the video, my spare tire is a tad bit dirty from all the FSR's driven along Mission, Harrison, Chicoltin, and wherever else I've been too. So, I wasn't too surprised it was that dirty, but still it was rather quite embarrassing (even though I really shouldn't have been haha). I just felt bad that they had to use an air compressor to blow off some of the dirt :P Sorry, guys!
Another thing, I didn't care about before, but now that the spare tire is out from underneath Kronk and I can see it on my tire swing - the rim on that wheel is getting pretty rusty, which means I'll be looking into some rims. Any suggestions? Let me know down in the comments! I'm thinking of either going for a matte black or copper.... not sure what brand yet as their are TONS! What do you guys run? Let me know! I need to find me some deals! LOL
