Hi there's a high school by my house they have simplex tru alerts horn strobes inside and outside spectralert horn strobes I thought only wheelock works on a simplex system? And did wheelock sue Siemens for rebranding their horn strobes? Please explain thanks

How did you get into this niche hobby, and what is the appeal? I learned of there being a fire alarm community from this one screenshot posted on discord.Not saying it is a bad hobby, I am just interested.
