For movement I assume you mean steering; The steering system I use I bought off of Amazon. For the speed, I would use 54 tooth sprocket, it got me up to 32MPH. I have a video on the sprocket, its called (drilling holes in my sprocket for my go-kart). I can answer any questions you have.
my go-kart doesn't have an engine, it has an electric motor, engines use gas, my go-kart is electric, it runs off of batteries. I use a 72volt 3000Watt motor. I bought it off amazon as a kit, the kit comes with the motor, sprocket, chain, foot pedal, ESC and some other stuff. And for the accelerator, I think what you mean is how I use the motor to move the go-kart. The chain goes on the little sprocket on the motor and connects to the bigger 54 tooth sprocket.
