so i guess youll put the panels on the roof.... thats a good way, as long as you are sure to have electricity for the rotation pump, that moves the liquid through the panels on the roof through the heat changer in the tank. .... with lightsout youll be in trouble, as heat isnt transported from the panels...... Im still thinking of a plan b. Water needs to be heated above 80*C.... because of legionella

Just an FYI, there's a free compass app you can install on Android, or IOS operated phones. It works well & syncs w your gps navigation app. You're absolutely in order, the sun, the moon (which is also a type of star), & stars all rise in the east. The east is always gonna be on your right hand side (RHS) & everything sets in the west (LHS). All you gotta know is try figuring out your north from wherever you are standing & that's where the app comes in. Sun rise = East (RHS) Sun set = West (LHS) North = To be determined by using a compass free app. That easy. Lol I know it's critical that your solar system (water heater) is installed at an equidistant from sunrise & sunset for optimum solar performance. So you basically mark two points at the rooftop labeled E & W, & then place your water heater in the middle somewhere facing east, again, it's for optimum absorption. I saw this info on the technical data sheet while installing mine & spoke extensively with the technicians who did it because i am curious like that. Lol

I have never used the water heater in our house whiles in Ghana, even when I visited December 2017 everybody was complaining about cold I guess because of harmattan but I still never used it 🤷🏾‍♂️
