Great advice to clamp top and bottom rails! This would have saved me so much time! Also going to get myself an extension for my driver👍👍👍👍

Excellent shortcut, skip the Trex video. This technique cut our time in half and with better out comes. Just finished 1000 sf deck with 10 stair rails 6 and 8’ . Wish I had watched this from the very beginning. Thank you

Looks like you have 22.5˚ angles on the deck, did you need any special brackets to attach railings to the posts at that angle?

Had to watch your vid cause i had a brain fart in this ky heat today workin on this. I did one before and no problem but that was over 2 yrs ago and i forgot about the clamps so i made a 150$ mistake today and cut one section wrong. Well more than 150 if you count gas and time wasted going back to lowes.

The common post for trex is 40in tall or you can get them 48in tall and make the stair posts taller or cut to your preference

are your bottom posts taller than the other post in order to accommodate the angle. I am finding (and instructions state it AFTER my stairs are done) that the bottom post needs to be taller in order for the angle to work and top rail mount without the post cap hitting the rail.
