Part 4 of a 4 part series - Installing Vintage Air HVAC System. Installing vents and reinstalling the interior. Will it start after the transmission swap and Vintage Air install? You will have to find out in the next video! Next up, installing the Holley Sniper fuel injection system.
We converted this 77 Corvette from an automatic to manual using the C3 Corvette TKX 5-Speed Kit from American PowerTrain. And, updated the HVAC system using a kit from Vintage Air! This video concludes the Vintage Air install. Will it blow? More importantly, will it start after the transmission swap and Vintage Air install? Vintage Air owes you guys. I've watched your series and it's convinced me to get a vintage Air system for my 77 c3. Plus I'm going to use the empty panel where the heater box was to mount my aces fuel injection computer

The 3 way adapter should be for both driver side vents not for the right lower driver side and then to the flat hard tube to the passenger side. For the flat tube it should come off the box with flex duct then connect to the flat hard pipe then go to the passenger side vent.

That's for posting! I got a 77 that I'm thinking about installing this system into. Is yours a 77E/ early or 77L/ late?

Thank you for watching! I'm not sure if this car is an early or late model. To order the kit, we did have to provide specific information to Vintage Air to make sure we had the correct kit for this car. When you're ready to purchase your kit, call Vintage Air and they will get you set up. It did take about 8 weeks to get the kit, so we would also recommend ordering accordingly to when you want to start your project. Good Luck!

@@MichMotorSports Quickest way to tell if its an early model is if there's a key switch in the driver side front fender for the alarm if the switch for the alarm is in the door lock where it belongs it's a late. Some go by the engine color weather its red or blue but thats not always correct in some very early models. Cant wait to see more videos of your progress.
