It's basically just a TENS unit that primarily works on your abdominal muscles, and it is meant to supplement a workout. It will not work on its own, and you shouldn't use it for more than 20 minutes a day. Use it after doing your sit-ups, and it'll do its job. Use it after doing your ab workouts, and it will do it's job.
