I kind of like how the chart with all the units that have Instant Death doesn't include Valkyrie. I'm not sure if that was intentional or not but given how her instant death only effects demonic enemies, it feels appropriate that she was "forgotten."
I insta-killed a large oni with Stheno of all people, in one of the Setsubun fight, I thought I had just misheard the death proc sound, but then I see the oni just fade away, at full health, I was both scared and proud of Stheno for a moment
Honako Green has a clip where he proc insta-Death to a Giant Dragon (the one in the Gilgamesh rank up, with more than 1M HP) with a normal attack of King Hassan. And he didn't have the Death resist down from the 3rd skill active. That was like one in a million chance lol. The clip it's on RU-vid btw.
Instant death has actually super useful and kinda consistent for me when doing most mindless farming when using Douman. That guy has a super high death rate that procs nearly every time on bronze and silver enemies. Boss fights though? Not so much.
I use shiki a lot, have her grailed, etc. So most people don't know this, but if you do proc insta death on a break bar enemy it only breaks the bar and doesn't kill them 100%. Anyway, instant death in boss fights is so rare I remember when it happens. It happened against the Ozy pillar fight in Camelot, for example.
I wish more activated after damage so that if it doesn't work you still got damage, stars, and np gain from hitting the enemy. Also I wish it did a percentage of the current hp of main bosses since their immune to instant death if I remember correctly.
What death needs to allow following hits to count as Overkill. It's such a no-brainer that "hitting a dead enemies triggers overkill" , but is absent on the status built around death. It would make units who attack after death like Nitocris even more valuable, since the overkill would gen more NP and stars than normal
Great guide like always. Nitocris NP is still annoying, cause she could be such a great looper if it would be after her NP like you said. And i don't like it that enemies can instakill you more often than you. But if it works it's funny. The fight against the Lahmus is Babylonia with King Hassan was awsome! I hope you produce more of these guides. They are super helpfull. Just a suggestion would be a video about looping.
Simple fixes. 1. Give them the NP they would've gotten on hit even if they inflicted death proc. 2. Interludes to all death having servants that give upgrades to their skills or NP to where you get a flat charge back 10-20% for each time you inflicted a death proc.
I do wish they could make nitocris and assassin mode do insta death post np but that would seriously make them more broken than they should and could be. Nitocris caster is honestly the reason why death worked so well being an aoe with a 100 percent charge and now arts buff with np buff is all beyond amazing for her kit. Most everyone else is just a bonus or not useful aside shiki with mid bosses or enemy ai that spam it.
@@Khadroth well I know it's just these two are best at a constant rate of either damage or death or even both especially post buffs. I mean I would like more units similar to this like the future jp Servants but death will always be a farming niche so it's why I bring up the best aoe and st at it. I mean nitocris being thier one and only aoe with a 100 Percent battery shows it clear enough for me. I wish they do fix the np eventually as assasin nitocris needs it most.
@@Khadroth death is also really annoying on the enemy side since it's so unpredictable if it will land or not you can't plan around it happening or not a grim reminder of the KH EQ from last nerofest
I remember I was so frustrated fighting Serenity because I would have evade or invul but the instant death would activate, in fact the amount of times that instant death would land against me was always frustrating lol
i remember my first encounter with insta death. i used a support shiki on the onigashima raid oni and she insta killed it. that was probably the only time i have seen it work outside of the KNK rerun or the battle in Babylonia
Imagine DW dropping a broken death centric gimmick servant and the sociopaths calculating and building a team specifically to proc death on CQ bosses 💀💀💀
Nice video. Instant Death is indeed problematic because most servants have their ID mechanics tied to their NP. Since on NA only 6 of them are AOE - that means they can potentially clear a wave, every other servant with ID will need to use his or hers NP to instantly kill enemy, but here is the question. Why use (in most cases) strong ST damage dealing NP to instantly kill some low rarity skeleton or roman soldier? Charging your NP gauge is not an easy task, and this damage could be used on a final boss, right? I have a question about Assassin Scathach NP. Is ID really activating after damage? I heard that she is hard to use in Double Skadi Setup because of ID, so now I am a little confused.
To your first question, that's sort of the issue, its rarely reasonable to try and death proc with Single Targets. To your second question, yeah ID isn't the reason she struggles. She simply doesn't have the np gain or charge in her kit to loop effectively on her own. So the only way to really loop her is double skadi, plugsuit waver, and a superscope. If death were an issue for her, no one would bother. Still down the line kichi and even summer okita (provided you can deal with the stun) would be better options.
During the 5th singularity my assassin Shiki landed death on either Cu Alter or the demon god pillar I forget which but it made the whole thing feel anticlimactic.
Other than the gacha itself, to my knowledge no, but they would have to go through each servant with instant death procs and change them otherwise. But yes they can go that route, its just the longer route and in particular would require a new gimmick for at least all the single target people.
Trying to np loop with assassin nito sucks so much coz her NP can proc death before the damage hits. I highly doubt they'll rework this mechanic but I'd be happy to be wrong. It seems like they just plan on introducing new mechanics instead of reworking old ones. I feel like the game is trying to proc death on itself but maybe it's just me.
Hello, I am relatively new to the game and I wish someone could answer me a doubt about the game, which is not the topic of the video, but I don't know where to answer and I don't find this on google. Anyway, in a couple days there's an "elegible class pick-up summon", which leads you to select a servant you want (?). How does this work? Do I have to pay? It's an elegible servant for every class pickup or only one amogst all? How much quartz do I need? I'm sorry but this question doesn't allow me to think on anything else :P
