Hi!! 4 yrs later and we're empty nesting and starting our camping journeys. I thought of something like this to add an extra 'room' so we don't have to fight the bugs while meal prep and eating away from the tent/sleeping area. I've only been seeing videos for the last year or so. So it's great to see this from over a year ago. Hubs is 6'4" and this is nice when we're meal prepping together and have a place to 'chillout' before heading to bed. My daughter has a beach one and that thing is a horror to fold. I think because it's been folded by very impatient friends who actually bent one of the flex bars. We have a privacy tent and it took some practice but I got it😊
Those popup screen rooms are a must have when trying to enjoy the outdoors durning the season of so many bugs! That's a nice one anf just the right size and takes up little to no room! Thanks for sharing guys!
I just bought a 10x10 and wish I could make the 2nd figure 8 😢 I think the new design wants you to only make one figure 8. But delivered it was 2 figure 8 I'm afraid to force it 💪😅
I saw someone do a video on the 10 x 10. It’s only one figure 8 that she made to take it down, and then you fold one of the circles onto the other circle. Don’t be afraid. You won’t break it.
I really wish we could see set up and tear down at normal speed with verbal directions of how you did it rather than fast speed with music, I couldn't really tell how to do it because the video was so fast.
I was surprised how roomy it was. It doesn’t take up much space at all in its carry case. I needed one desperately. I think I attract every mosquito within a 20 mile radius.
Thanks! I go solo so I need something like this. How wide are the doors? I have a small truck that I will be sleeping in with the tailgate down, so I need the screen to fit over the back portion of my truck. Thank for any advice! Very good video!
Thank you for making this video Amanda! My wife ordered me the Tan 10' popup tent, the 1st order got lost, we got a refund & ordered the 2nd one a few days ago...it arrived today! :) We put it together fairly fast, it was easy to put together, but is a little tricky to tie down to the tarp. But I'll figure it out how the tie down are properly used. (Any suggestions)? Ours has two cords on each side (1 on the top & 1 on the bottom). Which appears to be a different model than yours. I wouldn't use rocks (unless they are smooth) because the sharp edges could tear the fabric.
You are so welcome! I recommend looking on the manufacturer’s website because they might have video tutorials. You can also look up your model on RU-vid to see if there are any vids on it. If you can tell me the model name/number, I’ll see what I can find.
The plastic cord stops on the tie-downs are useless. I replaced them with spring cord stops like you find on hoodie cords. I had them leftover from mask making! they work great!
