Not many bench players on NBA teams can score 80-90 pts in pro-am like PP. I'm so glad that he gets to play his natural position PG & with his ball sense, you can clearly see the game has already slowed down to him. Udoka was the one who misused him while LY we had Brogdon / Smart / White which is a super crowded backcourt. I'm glad Stevens didn't give up on him as he prob saw how good he is with lots of upside during his coaching years.

Our bench could probably make the playoffs, like seed 6-8, and maybe even win a series. And this game was without Horford. If our damn starters can just lock it down at the end of close games, clamp down on defense to stop those long scoring runs that have happened against us recently, and figure out the proper play and person to go to in the clutch, when that ONE shot is needed, we'd be a lock to win the championship. My main worry is Mazulla not having coached long enough and not really having enough experience drawing up plays for all the situations.

Also this is where Scalibrene really shows he doesn't know what he's talking about. None of these C's are going anywhere. Luke Kornet is not getting traded to the Mavericks or something. I'm not saying STFU but seriously for somone who played on the team, you have no idea how Brad Stevens is working these trades and contracts. The real magic behind the scenes was for example getting Jrue Holiday and Porzingis, two players who have never played together ever but both are all star quality caliber players. The true winner of this year on the celtics is the front office. And they will get their chip and then some. I'm predicting the Celtics dominate for the next 5 years.
