In this lesson, you will learn what instantaneous velocity is and why we use it in physics. We will learn that the instantaneous velocity of an object is the derivative (rate of change) of its position with respect to time. This allows us to discuss the velocity of an object at a given time along a trajectory, even if the object is continually changing its velocity.

Can we find the instantaneous velocity at fractions of second? Like v=2t t=1/2sec v=2(1/2)=1m/sec.

Sir without Calculus will the instantaneous speed going to be approximate ? Like we will have to shrink the points at certain degree and then make it as small as possible so without the need of calculus the value has to be approximate right?
