For this to happen. First you need to pray to flop top two or straight, very unlikely. After that you need to pray that nobody has a set, then you need to pray for somebody to have a over-pair or flush draw. You may as well go all in against ak preflop, you will have 32 percent chance to win the hand, much less praying is required.

@@jacobprudhomme kind of, but it's just the nut flush draw with backdoor straight potential; against a made hand like set or 2p you have ~30% at best. he's calling 45 to win 120 which requires 37.5% equity to break even. you'd have to hope he's doing this with a worse flush draw sometimes like exactly KT or K9cc in this case, since not many other flush draws will want to play that aggressively

@@karlali7155 let's do some math. if he has 37.5% equity he has exactly a 0 EV call. If he has 30% equity his expected winnings after calling the all-in are -$9K. So if you ran this exact spot a thousand times on average you'd be losing $9k every time. Glad $9k doesn't mean anything to you though
