Extra tip 👇 Movement is 3rd after aim and game sense. If you're struggling to win fights you probably don't have the best aim or positioning. These things you practice by simply playing the game and/or aim trainers. Movement will not make you a better player without these things, in fact i've seen it be the reason people lose fights. Develop game sense. Play ranked and lose over and over until you realize what you're doing wrong. I solo queue more often than not and i use to be stuck in gold, so i dedicated an entire season to getting as many kills and dmg in pubs i could without considering teammates. Im now in D3
Don't b- hop and shoot... unless your're playing shotgun. Your reticular is gonna bounce up and down while you're moving horizontally. From your opponent view you're moving on a straight predictable line. It may look cool and you might think you're being hard to track but all you're doing is missing half your bullet and being a easy target because your opponent's reticular is stable following you as if it you'd be running in a straight line....
it’s situational. they have be so many times that i’ve been able to one clip someone who simply couldn’t track me cause of how fast i was going. NEVER do it straight at them, but you still can use it in fights!
Good tip for doing superglides on small objects, hold jump before you walk up. Holding jump makes you automatically climb the object and then hit the crouch.. that's the easiest and also set your jump to a button to your dominant hand side eg i use modified (custim) ninja so i switched jump from L1 to R1 and now i hit the superglide always. For some reason it just works perfect.. I can hit 4 superglides in a row and I'm on controller.. Great vid man
New movement tech vid was just put out by Mokeysniper. No-mantle walljumps. You can walljump off of very short objects that were previously thought to be impossible to walljump off of
Sup duude so i'm on console most of these work but since i'm stuck on 60fps, I feel like superglides are consistent but walljumps not as consistent or am I buggin?
French crop would look good on you bro, I am on m&k so basically most roller players that complain about movement just don't want to put the effort into it for what I've seen from this tutorial and also good to know that if I switch it's basically the same thing with just no tap strafe, people talk about it like it's what movement it's all about but it's only maybe 5 or 10%, I started using tap strafe maybe 3 months ago because I liked the ability to switch weapons faster on scroll wheel, it's not like it's going to change your movement drastically asside from the jump pad...
I just lost my Dawg, and my brother taught me how to chase the bag. Get right in the field I had to make a bag. The day he lost his soul, wish I could take it back
Every time I go for something fancy I am immediately swung on by the entire fucking team every time or the guy I lit the fuck up swings me at two hp and kills all my momentum and I get one clipped, getting slowed by bullets it the dumbest shit ever that is the only thing I hate about this game other then cheaters.
18:40 mantle jumps looking up get you higher and faster, yet you also hit your head in most buildings, so if you are outdoors, look up and most indoor places look down
NOOOOOO NOOOOOO NOOOOOOOO im not invalidating your experience of apex but you need to hit jump 1 frame before your crouch so it has to be really close not exact
Her passive is really nice for movement, and her smoke’s versatile as hell (easy to learn, hard to master; like Octane). But tbh, it’s obvious that all of the skirmishers are specifically made cater to movement
her passive is fantastic (it’s a little inconsistent) and her tactical is nice for movement cause you can play more risky and just smoke yourself if you mess up
Just played the game for first time yesterday, and was really fun. I have no clue on mechanics or anything. Also, realize the skill ceiling is huge. But I won first BR I got into and had 6 kills. But feel like teammate carried me lol. Appreciate the guide man, starting from scratch has helped a lot.
in terms of movement - bunny hops, fatigue jump, faide slide (for when you know people are looking at you), wall bounces are the most effective basics to properly spend time and learn, so that you know what movement is actually going to happen when you move. in terms of aiming and stuff, sit in the back of the firing range with a 2x scope or 3x and practice shooting the centre dummy, for close range turn aim assist off and try hitting the dummies for about 100 each time
always appreciate the movement guides 🫰🏽 i’d love the implementation of movement in fights video. i’ve got some movement techs down (bunny hops, super glides, and wall bounces mainly) but implementing them in fights has been a bit muddy for me.
