i have been prescribed insulin and have a NOVO NORDISK pen. I still not getting that how deep do i need to insert the needle? does the whole needle suppose to go till the plastic part touches my skin or it just need to enter half of the length of the needle? I am thin 5.8" height and 45 kg weight. Doctor told me that i have very low fat in my body. What care do i need to take while taking insulin. For the sake you i have just started with insulin. All help will be appreciated.

Ideally once use and through...but if u handle it properly Max upto three days can be used

If u are using actrapid then 30 min if using apidra humalog then just before meals If using lantus then after dinner
