@@yourlearningcareer It has been exciting, frustrating, scary, and a source of pride. I started with this project May 2019. We finished one module and just now starting a second one. My biggest frustration is wrangling the SME and the owner (industrial construction company)--so hard this program manager part. I enjoy taking the client needs and interpreting them for the developers I found who create the code that goes in the VR goggles. I do not have formal ID experience, my background is more Information Technology (tech support, web dev, some app dev). I have a lot more to learn on making these training sims effective.
@@TraceyPatter I hear you! SME/Owner wrangling is one of my least favorite aspects. I just wanna create! I don't want to have to constantly nag people! 😄 It sounds like a very cool opportunity in spite of some of the challenges. It's going to look really good on your resume' too! Is ID something you think you want to stick with? Lots of people who are successful IDs kind of just fell into it so don't worry about that! Getting that real world experience with an actual project puts you in a great spot!
