"Units in the City" is the first and only album by American hip hop artist Shawty Lo while he was alive. It came out on February 26, 2008, under D4L Records, Asylum Records, and Warner Bros. Records. The album includes guest appearances from artists like Phace Baity, Gucci Mane, G-Child, 40cal, Frontstreet, and Braski. It was produced by Balis Beats, DJ Montay, Bankhead DJ Pooh, and others.

Carlos Rico Walker (March 22, 1976 - September 21, 2016), known as Shawty Lo, was an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He gained fame as a member of the Southern hip hop group D4L and later founded D4L Records in 2000. The group achieved national recognition in 2006 with their hit single "Laffy Taffy," which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned double platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Walker embarked on a solo career in 2007, releasing his debut single "Dey Know" and his first solo album, "Units in the City," in February 2008. Tragically, he passed away in a car accident on September 21, 2016. His second studio album, "R.I.C.O.," was released after his death in March 2017.
