Thank you for this informative video. Before I EVEN considered Belize as a future residency a lot of Common Sense factors made me choose the right property for my needs and budget. The Atlantic Ocean can be extremely violent, rain storms, hurricans, etc can ruin your shallow property in hours. Intermediate ocean level rises in the next 10 years can affect properties less than 3 mt. above sea levels. We cannot ignore those factors. I chose inland property at least 30 ft above sea level, dry property, no swamps dried up with drainage, or close to rivers.
Great video good information to know where to go for insurance. Definitely gonna use them. Sounds very knowledgeable and could help cover our needs. Thanks Will and Marvin.
Hey Will. We've got a vacation rental in Maya Beach (beachside near the bowling alley) and intend on retiring there in the very near future. I'm going to reach out to Marvin for a quote as I'm currently using another insurance company. Your videos are awesome and full of very valuable info.
I think @10:00 my question is answered as to what happens if a major direct hit hurricane event happened, could the insurance co become insolvant, and is there a guarantee association or goverment fund as a failsafe like in the US. Dozens of companies in Florida have gone out of business due to excessive claims.
I’ve been following for over a year now. Will great 😮content. I am scheduled for my first visit in early June. I’d love to know more about suggestions for where exactly to stay for 1 wk both vacation and scouting real estate and even potential jobs in the financial field
I just can’t wait to hopefully hear something about habitat. I hear there’s a lot going on at the Sea Beach area coming out there in July. Hopefully we can talk to the builder and move forward on our build on the land that we bought habitat so the insurance really came in handy and informing uswhat we can do once we get our house built so look forward to more videos. Will thanks so much for everything you do for everyone Ruben.
