I love Insurgency Sandstorm guns reload animations. They're smooth. And answering on question:"Which of reload animations is my favorite?" - IMHO it's Grease Gun

well, this is a realistic game not a cod knock off because this came out in 2018 before mw19 came out it was made by a completely different studio, also he doesn’t slow down that much.

@@Xenoscoutknight dont know whats so realistic casually reloading a gun super slowly. Especially if youre in combat. The animations are smooth and may make realistic moments according to how the guns are supposed to be reloaded but mannnnnn just only if they were sped up by at least 10% then it would make more sense.

Sadly, they released the M60E4 and RPK a short while after you posted this I think. Not that it matters, they're basically the same belt fed and AK platform reloads, just changed up a bit for chunkier guns.

@@thatgamercoco that's alright. Like I said, the M60 is similar to the M240B, while the RPK is basically the AK with either a 40 round Banana mag or 75 Round Drum. No real new reloads.

i love insurgency sandstorm animations and sounds, the animations are way too calm but the reload speed seems normal the only big complaint i have is how bad the magin sounds in most weapons like the asval and m82 without the mag tap

I kinda like the slowness of the reloads. It shows the soldier is trained well to reload carefully and concisely under fire. There is a military saying for moments like these, "Remember, Slow is Smooth, Smooth is Fast." It won't matter if you can knock the mag out quick if you can barely feed the new one into the damn mag well. A slow and smooth operator shows they have trained reloads in well.

it's not that it's slow, it's that it's unrealistically calm reloading. In the heat of battle, you probably wouldn't be reloading this calm. Considering your life is on the line and you're most likely pumped full of adrenaline. It's like the guns are being reloaded at a range. Very unrealistic

@@dreadedTanker3173 There is such a thing as military drilling. Countless hours spent reloading and maintaining composure, that's the way they do it. And these are well trained soldiers, or at the very least the Security Forces are. Modern Training focuses on keeping calm, and keeping your head. A panicked soldier is a dead soldier, even when reloading. ESPECIALLY when reloading. This is not the reload of a barely trained soldier who only saw a few weeks of training. This is the reload of a soldier who has spend HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of hours having reloading and calming techniques drilled into them. If a soldier keeps THIS calm, they are a true warrior.

@@DiggerDeeper01 yeah idk, being shot at probably will pump you with adrenaline and you'll probably be shaking trying to reload, and doing it quickly. 'calm' state reloading during battle is not realistic. And a drill is probably teaching you muscle memory to reload your weapon as fast as you can.. not calm. I can get being calm to think rationally, but you won't be this calm when reloading.

Insurgency is way more of a sim shooter than CoD so that's understandable, and I'm ngl, reloading that slowly hidden behind a thin wall while all the enemy team is shooting at you is pretty intense

many weird weaponry choices ,it's surprising to see the insurgents using modern guns like the galil ace and the P90 plus the secu soldiers using the M3 grease gun and the Tariq pistol

Definitely a wide variety of weapons another way to look at it is that the old nato weapons are for nato aligned military groups and they are donated weapons.

Grease gun was used up until recently by US tank crews. The Tariq pistol is a locally produced M9 beretta used by Iraqi forces. P90 and Galil ACE being used by insurgents is odd but not far off from current reality

I did, I don't think I did the launchers because they take a while, I had already spent like 50 minutes just doing the animations like ingame reloading all the guns. So I couldn't do different makes or attachments that would have taken time I didn't have.

1:32 All of those reload animation look pretty good, but the fast reload for the G36K is one that just does not work for me. Because it is not an late model G36K with the extended bolt catch in the trigger housing to actually function as a bolt release. It is interesting however that this must have come up, because in the early versions of the game they did the same, in a later version they just made the normal reload animation faster, and now they are back to this.
