I really missed this games since NWI has been shut down by Embracer group. It's has a lot of potential to be better at least Gun model is better than MW2.5 LOL
@@theblobconsumes4859NWI exists in name only. Most if not all of the original devs are long gone and all the recent updates have been from a completely different studio.
@@tobiaspramono378 true tho. But Insurgency will always be realistic and more of a horror game than CoD. And also the addition to .50 Cal guns making ya deaf on IS.
@@beyondthegrave124 eh. I feel like it. CoD should have went back to Arcady and not trying to be realistic like Sandstorm. Remembered what happened to Ghosts?
Hi PCGV! I know this may not be the right video to ask this question, but I just installed NFS Porsche 2000 in my windows 10 PC. It is running properly and i did the 356, 356A, and 356B tournaments in EVOLUTION. Now i am yet to do the 2000cc challenge. However, my "Porsche Centre" is stuck to 2 cars only, the 911 coupe and the 356B GS Carrera 2. I am not able to see any other cars in the "CAR" dropdown tab. Is this a bug?
I love the keyboard operators in this comment section lol These animations are dated sure but the models and attention to detail is better than anything that’s come out since. The sound design is a LITTLE bit dated. Still sounds awesome. This game is great. I hope they continue to make more games like this but I don’t have a lot of hopes :(
I dont know if i believe in audio being dated, at least as far as style is concerned, but you can certainly squish variety in handling audio which i haven't seen in years.
the weapon choices is discussable. why a Tariq pistol for the official forces , why they didn't gave them the Beretta M9 instead (and balance the P226 and Glock by putting 40. S&W or 357 SIG variants instead) ? Also why a M3 Grease gun (the WW2-era variant) to them? another alternative SMG would've been an UMP or LWRC for them. the M3 and the Tariq would fits more to the insurgents weaponry. also they have some modern guns for some reason like the Galil 52 , the AWP and the P90. ï would respectively replace them by a Bizon , or a PPSH SMG , a SV98 or a Lee-enfield rifle and an older 7.62 Galil with the same design as the ARM . we can still choose the guns we want but that is very unlogical
Yeah that's really weird. There could've been so many unique and interesting options that would've fitted the setting. The fact that for example the aren't any weapons from Yugoslavia in game when millions were imported to Iraq frustrates me. Why instead of the mg3 for the insurgents, which doesn't make any sense, not give them the yugoslav m53 which is also a variant of the mg42? An smg like the m56 would've also been really nice to see for them. Instead we get weird crap which doesn't belong to the setting in the slightest.
Genuine question. Are the reloads that slow because of gameplay reasons? Because from what I know, a well trained soldier can reload waaaay faster than that.
@@errornamenotfound2513It doesn't. There should be a lighter greenish tube on top of the part where the fins are (they deploy when the rocket is in flight). Look up pictures of the rpg-7 rocket and it'll be there.
For those who keep complaining about the slow reload animations. This is one of the things the Insurgency series is known for. The slow movement and tactical gunplay makes its gameplay unique when compared to every other COD wannabe game.
@@WindowsDoor ah thanks for the clarification, I haven’t played the games and thought that the VAL was an assault rifle (I play a different game that classifies it as such)
@@yourfellowpancake6335 in fact weapons in game are categorized by class, not by weapon type because weapons are of course locked to specific class, most being shared to 4 classes
@@topperboi6768 that M16 in semi auto sounds like farts. Dont get me wrong, more realistic than 90% of most shooters, but beating Battlefield 4 or MW2019 is hard as hell. For me the problem is the echo missing and how low the sounds are
The animations are horrible for trying to be realistic. Sluggish "another trip to the range" reloads and no sense of urgency. You're like a bunch of sitting ducks going to war. Every part of each reload animation is sluggish as hell, except for the part where the operator stores the half-empty magazines and pulls the fresh ones out of the mag pouch. For some reasons, that part of the animation happens quickly. Too quick to even be realistic. Just search some military drills on RU-vid and watch. Watch some civilian drills or matches as well.
Completely agree, sluggish is a great way to describe it. In addition, the animations themselves are just odd. They're very well done animations, but they just don't feel natural. Like throwing the rifle up and then down when changing mags. The way the buttstock bounces all over the place as if there's zero contact with the shoulder during reloads. And the way the animation makes all the weapons seem like they weigh 20lbs and the character is fighting it the entire time. Slow reload animations can be done very well, just look at Project Reality.
They have another animation for the reloads. Tactical reload. This guy didn’t input it at all in this video for all the weapons. Have you just heard about the game and not actually looked into the details?
I don't think that's a fair assessment when you can find videos of GIs in exchange of fire being just as patient. Especially the machine gunner PoVs, those make Sandstorm look lightning fast without fail. Drills and civilian shooting are well and good, but they frequently don't have the gear or circumstance of being in a ditch on the receiving end of return fire. Yeah, some parts could use a bit more expediency, but the game also emphasizes having solid cover and teammates to keep you covered. Lone survivors completing objectives is made note of because most of the time a single player is overwhelmed and killed. The reloads facilitate that focus by making you vulnerable for a significant amount of time when your gun runs empty.
