That was brilliant information thank you. I am a real fan of Spalted wood and would love to try and re-create it myself because I don’t see much of it and I have 2 or 3 logs that came from a Hawthorn tree. I wonder if that will work. Have you got any tips maybe?
As a master craftsman myself in the art of woodwork, I must say he has skill but needs to take a little more time in refining his joint fitment and at least try to sand the sawcuts everywhere. His products would not pass inspection in any of the shops I've worked at over my 25 years in the business.
