@@handle156 thanks mate. I’m going back to this job to add some surveillance cameras and garage door controls to the tablet so I’ll run through it all and how I get the air con to work off it. Cheers
I agree, having multiple units running off the one controller / phone app just makes life easier. In regards to the outdoor unit, nearly every install I do, I always put the unit up on brackets to get it off the ground and I thought this job was going to be the same but the new outdoor unit was a bit bigger. Anyway it will definitely be raised once the new slab is in. I need to return to do a few bits and pieces before it’s a finished job. Are you thinking of going ducted at your house?
@@maracservices yer Mitch thinking of a 12kw Daikin ducted with zone control. We have split level home and upstairs in summer is unbearable. Was looking at the new Daikin zone controller but MyAir is another option. Have you used there zone control distribution box and motors for 8 zones ?
@@peterpollard7204I’m a Daikin guy as you know but I’m not a fan of their new Daikin Hub. I have installed one to test it out and I can say that it looks sleek but I personally think they tried to copy MyAir and it can’t do something’s that the MyAir can. I’m not affiliated with Advantage Air in the slightest. I’m just giving my 2 cents worth. I am also not a fan of Daikins app compared to the MyAir app. I personally think it’s a bit slow. I have a Daikin ducted in my home and haven’t had any issues what so ever but yeah I decided to use MyAir instead of the Daikin control gear.
