Whoa! The detail about the driver being exposed at the platform/firmware level is super helpful in understanding how this works. Thank you for producing these more technical videos!
Intel should really get on pushing motherboard manufacturers to get BIOS support rolled out all the way back to 12th Gen. I'd love to try it, but MSI hasn't rolled out support yet for 12th Gen on my Unify-X yet. 😢
@@stevensv4864Z690 Unify-X, which actually gained support a few days ago thanks to pestering the forum moderators. Not tech support mind you, tried that first and got nowhere, told me they couldn't contact BIOS team and I had to wait 😂
I still can't get this to work on my Corsair pre-built. I think it's still not compatible with a lot of motherboards that support the 14 series Intel CPUs.
Whats the story with World of Wacraft "Shadowlands" when its Dragonflight. I doubt the name matters, but when this was tested. WoW i saw nothing of noteworthy. On a busy area where its more cpu bound, and on a empty area where the GPU loads upto 90%+. In both situations On or Off did nothing for World of Warcraft.
Until we can see any kind of hard numbers, and not just from a title where the base fps is already 500 or more, this is a hype bs. Hopefully, they can intergrate this into presentmon so we can actually see if this have effect or not.
Hello Intel, after we learned that there is hardly any difference between the 13900k and 14900k. For what reason did you think not to support the 13th generation with APO🤡??? Well for gaming AMD 7800x3d all day and I say that as an Intel fanboy sry ex- intel fanboy !!!
Intel Application Optimization (APO) tool is built for Windows 11. Sadly, Windows 10 is not a supported operating system for it. To learn more, please visit intel.ly/3U0cLMb
Hi! Please note that the Intel Application Optimization will be enabled by default on a supported system that is running Intel DTT, as part of the Intel DTT driver. Usage of the Intel APO will also depend on the processor model that you have. Our suggestion here would be that you check with the motherboard manufacturer for further information on compatibility. Additionally, you can also reach out to us directly via the email channel for further discussions. Visit: intel.ly/3xHKJ0w to create your own ticket.
Please note that Intel Application Optimization needs BIOS enabling and the installation of Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology (Intel DTT) on the machine. Before attempting to install Intel Application Optimization, make sure you have the most recent BIOS that enables it (and that it is enabled in BIOS), as well as Intel DTT version 11405 or newer installed on your system. Refer, intel.ly/3W02n9P for more information and FAQs. Additionally, please reach out to the motherboard manufacturers for more information.
Ali Baba taking interview of Jonh Cramer (saw), lets play a game - install worst version of windows ever created - 11, buy intel 14th which is the exact same copy of 13th gen and it doesn't even work in all games.
