I wonder how shocked they’d be if BAMA go unbeaten… If Milroe’s the guy and balls out, no one is beating us 💪🏾 Roll Tide!!!

Hate to harsh your buzz but 6-6 is more likely. Of course Milroe looks good at practice, he's a good athlete but he just can't play or think when the defense confuses him. He'll be on the bench after the GA game and DeBoer might last 2 years. He's out of his league and his inexperienced staff will only speed up his demise. It's going to be a very long year in Tuscaloosa.

Just remember one thing. bond,benson,brooks,and Niblack will HUGE additions by subtraction. The production of Bernard,Law,Prentice,EMAN,Ryan Williams,Cole Adams,Caleb Odom,along with the TE room of Dippre,Outzs,Lewis,and Josh Cuevas in this offense will make you completely FORGET those other guys. If you are a TIDE fan? You will be elated. IF you are a TIDE HATER? Not so much.....IF there is a faster WR room in the country? Show me. I dont believe you can....

It's honestly funny, because people try to downplay Deboer by saying "he hasn't coached in the sec" etc...yet somehow, the same people will say that Texas will win the conference when they themselves haven't been in the sec 😂 the Bama hate and hypocrisy is real

At some point coach Debo being 2-0 against Sark with less talent has to mean something right?
@MyBohemianDreams
@MyBohemianDreams Месяц назад
Texas has a top head coach? Based on what standard? Fired from Washington, fired from USC and fired as OC by Atlanta. In 2019, his offense had 2 QBs, 5 WRs and 2 RBs that would all be first round draft picks and yet he lost 2 regular season games as OC at Bama. First year at Texas as HC, 7-6, second year 9-4 and last year he only had three games against teams that had even a slight chance to beat him and he lost 2 of them. Texas will struggle on the road in the SEC. If they lose four or more games, Sarkisian will be looking for a new job.
@GrayGamer
@GrayGamer Месяц назад
Sark is really good. He was really good at Bama and he made Texas good again and won a Big 12 championship. He’s definitely top 5 coach in the country

Shula was taking over an average Alabama going into crippling sanctions. He was hired just to hold things down until the sanctions were over. To say the circumstances are different is an understatement. Bama has a brutal schedule for the next two years, which will likely set Bama back some, but Bama should still be very good with the potential for anything. I don't know if they will make the playoffs this year, but American should probably get ready to see Bama near or at the top for the foreseeable future. There seems to be more parity among top teams right now than there has been in a long time. Bama probably won't have a run like they did under Saban, but I doubt any program does. It looks like there will be around six to eight teams legitimately competing for the championship each season, and probably about ten to twelve programs those odds alternate between. Bama will get there there's.
@Muskogee
@Muskogee 17 дней назад
His problem was not being able to recruit also. If you don't recruit out of big high schools in Alabama, you are doing yourself and the University a disservice.
@jacobbjohns
@jacobbjohns 16 дней назад
@Muskogee Yeah. Sanctions limiting how many scholarships you can have and a multi year bowl ban, meaning that you can't win a championship even if you won every game, tends to run off top recruits. I'm not saying he'd have been a great recruiter. I'm just saying we have no way to know how he'd have been under normal circumstances. The sanctions created a compounding problem. It may have been a blessing in disguise, though. Bama reinvested into football more than they ever had in the past to bring the program back. From facilities to staff, Alabama started putting money where it was needed to have the best of everything once the sanctions were lifted. Alabama's facilities had fallen pretty far behind top programs up until that point.

All due respect, gentlemen, but the kick six was very simple to understand. The line of the kick team did not do something that is called in my experience “cover down“ and other words they did not separate out into lanes and run down the field like you would on a punt. I was taught in middle school football, because our kickers often did not have to get the ball out of the longer kicks, that you had to cover down on anything longer than an extra point. When I saw Chris Davis catch that ball in the end zone with all those lineman standing in the middle of the field, I knew it was over.

It was sarcasm. However, Shula took over a Probation ridden program that was on its third coach in 36 months. No in-demand coach would take the job. Roster attrition was more than 50%. Shula, who’d never been a HC before, may not have ever been the solution. However, he damn sure wasn’t the problem.

First, Rees was a good OC and his game plans were fine. Milroe just couldn't execute it. So he changed the scheme to fit Milroe's strengths. That was successful, but at the end of the day, a QB needs to make good reads, go through progressions, and have a pocket presence. Michigan exposed those flaws.
