Intel has an Accountant as a CEO, Boeing has a Accountant as a CEO, Accountants don't make good CEOs for tech firms as they have no clue about the technology but ability to find unprofitable branches in the tech firms.
You are right about the CEO of Boeing who is an accountant but I think you have lied about Pat Gelsinger, Intel CEO. He is not an accountant. Anyways your point makes sense in a way but not totally true.
Intel also has AI chip called Gaudi 3 .The biggest loss of Intel was not participating in Mobile phone market and GPU failure. The number of people using laptops have reduced significantly . Its Market share is lost to smartphone makers
It's not AI. The 13th and 14th gen cpus have high failure rates due to hardware issues. Intel has made too many poor decisions and is a bloated organization. It's paying the price now.
Every week I buy more of whatever is the lowest percentage of my portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Please what could be my safest buys with $400k to outperform the market in 2024?
I'd avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Save your cash for when the market actually shows sign of recovery.
This is why I entrusted a fiduciary with my investmnt decisions. Many underestimate advisors until emotions lead to losses. My advisor crafted a tailored strategy aligning with my long-term goals, guiding entry and exit points for the equities I focus on. This has grown my portfolio to over $850k. My personal best so far
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financial future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?.
ANGELA LYNN SCHILLING' is her name. She is regarded as a genius in her area and works for Empower Financial Services. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.
Intel's CPUs had ringbus issues as they were pushed too hard to compete with AMD and Apple. Nearly all the 13th and 14th Gen Intel CPUs are facing this problem are likely to fail under full throttle. This is a hardware problem that has affected its data center clients as well as OEMs. Ostensibly, shareholder confidence has eroded, and Intel's other ventures in GPUs have not paid off rich dividends (Intel's GPUs are promising though). It's 10 nm fabs are running on a skeleton crew as competitors like AMD and Apple are on 4nm and 3nm respectively.
China was happy to continue buying American chips, then America said oh no, it's too risky selling chips to China as its a national security threat.... China was its biggest market.... That forced China to innovate and start making their own..... I am an African and I can bet you China's chip will make their way around the world.... The Nvidia boss knows this..... He is an ethnic Chinese and he knows their mindset, determination and strong will to succeed..... He himself is exactly like them.
@@RotaxXSNoone is evil in this world. Everyone is doing their work from their own perspective. Values differ community to community on earth. America , no longer hold that powerful position anymore. Maybe bcuz America 's proxy war with China is useless. Well if we look from other side. Actually , America 's the one who pushed china this further. All western companies find profits and values in china. It's just a matter of time when these companies will totally shift to China. I don't understand this thing in modern era. Why we mix politics in everything?
To change, things go down before going up - the hockey stick effect. It is a cycle. You need to understand the transformation in the chip industry. All these companies have top notch engineers - new ground breaking innovations are around the corner. Patience and perseverance are hallmark of the silicon valley companies, not like the day to day journalism. Your youtube channel came about from the tech innovations from the silicon valley. Issues we see around are created by politicians, journalists not engineers and businessmen.
the best part is a company can not change strategy at time, and later the first thing they do is firing people .In this case they have fired 15000 jobs that means sufferer will be almost 45000 if I take 3 people in a family who are depending on single source of income. What a shame
Everything I said and predicted is happening now. The big punch will be happening next year 😂😂. 2nm photonic chip are on the way from china and it will wipe out the entire AMD and intel industry. The downfall of the dollar is inevitable . tariffs will not work but sadly many will be unemployed.
i knew it was going to be bad when those 2 American chinese geniuses in the US chip industry went to China around the same time to make China great again, starting up a chinese government backed initiative to be the tech leader globally. we spend money on wars/military, they spend money on their future.
It is expected, as the USA’s policy of limiting export to China is cutting its own chip industries the big American based companies are losing revenues and profitability. China’s local high tech companies are buying more competitive locally made chips at much lower prices thereby hitting the traditional companies even harder. The result is obvious, these companies have to reduce costs in order to survive thereby increasing the unemployment rate in those countries as the trade war between the USA and China intensifies, the shake out is at hand.
Why the hell does Intel, or in that case, the US, want to manufacture chips back home? It makes no commercial prudence, coz the US cannot match the manufacturing costs of east Asian countries like Taiwan and China. The core and primary determining factor for such inability is that wage rates in the US are too high, vis-à-vis that in east Asian countries. The US should look for alternative domains, other than manufacturing, to create a competitive business edge for itself. Palki, you said that “the rule of economics is quite clear. You need returns on your investments”. That’s so true, but that’s going by old school economics. I am a staunch follower of old school economics and am unable to figure out this new age trend of start-ups. Such companies keep bleeding massive amounts of cash, just to corner market share, and turning profitable is a thing of the long term for them. Valuations of such companies keep increasing with them gaining market share, but turning profitable is no where in sight. Uber’s been in business for 20 odd years now, but is still posting annual losses, year after year. Back home, Zomato’s performance’s been not much to shout about either and a hell lot of investors have incurred losses by investing in its stock. If the idea is to grab a huge market share and then hike up the prices for their services, for the start up to then turn profitable, then it could be so that a new start up pops up in the same industry, offering products and services at scaled down prices and the original start-up now has to compete with this new start up, thereby rendering inability to hike the prices of its product offerings. So will it ever turn profitable? Start-up businesses making it big draw the attention of many, but for each successful start-up, there are thousands that fail, and are obviously not talked about. I am an old school guy and do not perceive start-ups as lucrative investment opportunities.
@@justinhawk835 PM Modi has taken initiatives towards incentivizing manufacturing in India. The PLI plan is one such initiative to encourage global companies to manufacture in India, which would bring in foreign capital into the country, create jobs and eventually contribute towards growth of the Indian economy. However, it would be a prolonged process to bring such a transformation. Also, India's competing with Vietnam, Phillipines, Malaysia and quite some other countries to grab the opportunities arising from the China+1 plan, that global manufacturers are prefering to adopt, after having suffered from absolute dependency on Chinese manufacturing and sourcing during the Covid crisis.
Intel is late in AI accelerator, and they are paying the price for it. Many back-office servers are moving away from Intel. Plus, they are in process of building a huge chip making plants in US and that is draining their cash reserve. But in 5 years when Chip fight starts with China, Intel will come ahead in a big way. I am buying Intel at this discounted rate.
Intel might not be around in 5 years. They can't compete in AI, desktop, and mobile markets. They only got the cloud left. Once everyone goes ARM, they're dust.
The wheels have to fall off at some point in time when even your cab driver asks you about chips and chip companies. They are not potato chips my answer 😂
There will never be derth in the chip industry. A chip is the heart of computing, and the craving for data will only increase as diversification of supply chain and advancements in technology happens. The raw power will always be the need of the industry. The day chip industry becomes mainframe, which is the day we will be on donkeys
They will be more corporate research oriented than the end consumer. Game companies are just boosters, until virtual reality. I want new architecture like Arm with TMSC.
"Why is Apple failing? When Apple started, we were 10 years ahead of the competition. What happened in 10 years? Apple stood still and the competition caught up. Apple's solution is not to slash and burn but to innovate out of the problem." Steve Jobs, 1997
@@untouchable360x How did he change the world? The iPhone wasn't the first smart phone and wasn't even the best one when it released. The original iPhone didn't support 3g data, home screen wallpapers or copy and paste, while windows mobile had themes, custom launchers and emulators. The only thing he did was use someone else's multitouch technology. Jobs was a smart man, but he was wrong about a lot of things.
You got the whole story wrong. It’s not the chip sales that’s causing the problem. The problem is that intel is way behind on manufacturing process leadership and losing their market share to competition. Intel is losing market share to AMD and NVIDIA in data center and to Qualcomm and AMD in PC space
Search the web for your question about AI chip. Semiconductors are a class of materials, and most electronic chips are made of that material. Watch youtube videos on it.
a ceo of chip industry claims revenues are not good. this should be assumed it's a false claim. they persistently give false claims to the public. an industry like the chip industry is one of the most demanded. the few companies that have market control decided to cut jobs, and qualifies as illegal antitrust law violations.
Not really intels chips are failing because of poor architecture, Intel's evilness of destroying it's competitor from market and their money hungry attitude.
no "churn" in chip industry, Intel is just a disaster right now. their 13 & 14th gen CPUs are toast. thats why customers are avoiding them and opting for Ryzen. It will take a while before they get the trust of their customers back.
The only reason nvidia is doing well is because of the Ai race. They are spending billions on servers for AI. Every other sells metrics is way down for nvidia.
come on, how much rally has they seen last and this year?No body wants to take profit?Surely...just let it go down...if there are opportunities to buy..then go on in again later..
Intel is just not relevant in chip sector, AMD killed them with Ryzen when I was in first year of college, now ARM is competing with x86 chips, Intel couldnt make 10nm chips in 4 years, they were late and got kicked hard
The main problem of US manufacturing is that its cost effectiveness. All other countries able to produce these products at a very low price and even US is using them.
Its' not chip rally losing steam. However the correct facts are American chip companies are losing the market. We know you hate China but at least report properly
For me getting into the crypto market I realize that crypto is the future cuz I started this journey with $8k and today it's up to $26k. It all happened so quickly that it feels like a dream, the best i can describe is looking at the bank and seeing high figures ☺️
For me trading hasn't been going well for a while now. Every day, I watch video's of people sharing their successful trades but I've no idea whom to direct me or even trade for me.
After the sanctions China can make chips up to 5nm.... That includes probably 90% of the chips used by all industries. And China is on the way to create 2nm chips too... That means 100% of all chips needed (from washing machines to high tech cell phones).
Intel should have outsourced the chip manufacturing to TSMC... still using archaic ways of manufacturing chips... need to adopt or get blown out... even though they make the Chips in US... it is going to be costly and can't compete with Taiwan, Samsung or China..
China grabbed Tibet by killing millions of Tibetans China destroyed thousands of mosques in Xinjiang and built on them public toilets Sad that all muslims are silent on joolam of China on muslims
