@@CapriceHunting need your help bro got a question I need to know the wire color for fuel oil and water and mph I can’t find them I got everything else hooked up

@@headymurphy112 I believe for mph you have to put the conversion cable which I think comes with it. I dont know what year box you have but if it has original speedo cable there should be a piece that comes with intellitronix kit that allows you to convert it to electric.

It wasnt moving for me, most likely bc I had a different transmission and I never got that far into the install to get it connected. I ended up giving the dash to my friend who is going to put it in his 79. I believe there is a switch on it to change which vehicle it is reading but it has been a while so I cant quite remember. Or maybe there is a way to calibrate it. I dont have it anymore and it has been a while so most of the info I can offer is probably in one of the videos but yeah I never got it all connected. that is true but i might put the original dash back in but yeah there are a lot of ways to do it, whatever works . that is a good way tho.

no probably not but the newer style one fits all the stuff that comes with the kit. You might have to make some mods to yours but you can make it work but there are a bunch of different styles so I am not sure which one you have

Check your 20 amp fuse and also clean the ground wire connectors in the front of the engine bay

I still have not finished installing it. i have been super busy with other stuff and havent had time to work on the caprice. i dont think i ever found one for a caprice but maybe a different gm. most of the wire colors are the same. i was meaning to find a wiring diagram eventually but still havent. you can maybe search google . i think i found one for a monte carlo from the 80s or maybe a different year caprice. i cant remember. if i find it i will put it up.

I have a 95 swap in my 79 so some of my stuff hooks up different . I havent got some of my stuff working yet as well, due to it being different in my car than for other box chevs and also due to time. I will do follow up video when I get to it but it will be a while. Many people ask for the wiring diagram which I have not been able to locate yet for the caprice. I believe I used a monte carlo one from the 80s as most gm are the same wires. As soon as I can find one I will put it online.

@@CapriceHunting the Hilton manual sold at O'Reilly's and on rockkauuto have the wiring diagrams for everything

you might be able to google search or use another year as they are all pretty similar. but in a manual probably if you cant find one online. alot of the dash wires are the same color for all GM . like the blue and lt blue are the blinkers, gray is dimmer, etc ... i think most of them are the same/similar. dont quote me on that tho. good luck. i just google searched and found one. i have a 79 but i think i used a different year.

If I find one i will post it . I believe i used one from a monte carlo or el camino g body because it was all i could find online. for the most part gm used all the same color wires to run things.
