This past weekend, I tried this protection treatment. I had box braids for 2 and half months. When I applied this treatment, the detailing was a breeze. Of course I experienced she'd however it wasn't excessive. In the past I did the aloevera treatment you posted. I will get back to doing it. Especially after I take down my protective style.

Should you wash the hair prior to applying the treatment to help open up the hair follicles so the treatment is absorbed better? I I believe it helps with existing build-up as well.
Nice shower cap. I used to watch my daughters hair in the tub but they have so much hair and the way my age is set up my back be killing after I’m done so I wash their hair in the sink, my sink is always clean and I always clean it after I wash their hair and they love it too because they get to lay down. I use to do this some years ago with the addition of honey and sometimes castor oil along with the oils listed. Igot lazy. Sure enough my hair has suffered for it, just able to get back on track. It works!!! I will start doing this again. thank you for this reminder🌹🌹🌺🌺
How much honey and did u used? Does the honey have to be organ? When did u put the oils in and how much? Or the oils 100% natural or a blend? My hair is dry maybe the honey will help if l try Mercy's video. Thanks for your input. Hope it helps .

I have low porosity hair. Aloe causes hair shaft to close up locking in moisture. If you have dry low porosity hair, this isn’t for you. You’re going to have dry brittle tangled hair. My sister has high porosity hair. The mask worked well for her
I am low porosity too,aloe Vera makes my hair dry but if used without mixing it with other ingredients I tried mixing it with avocado,banana,ginger and honey,it has worked wonders in my hair

Hey um im sure the egg content makes it more liable to biodegradation. Does refrigerating preserve it? Like can one make the solution in large quantity, refridgerate, and use it over a week?

I see you have hair balls/ties in her hair. I would recommend not leaving them in overnight for days. I wore them as a child and also used them in my children's hair. The breakdown from the rubber band part is almost like glue, so I would definitely replace them when they start to break down. Also, I believe leaving her hair in a style for extended days could contribute to her tenderness. I would recommend massaging her scalp during the week with a scalp massager to help lessen the tenderness. Also, have you seen information saying that the Aloe vera should be soaked first? Also, look into a hose to hook up to your faucet, that may help to when washing her hair. It will also help save your back.
My 2 years old daughter’s hair is as long as Nadia’s hair and equally very healthy. Have stick to Shea moisture kids conditioner and shampoo for 2years and virgin coconut oil and works like wonders. Healthy foods works too
My hair has been going well with all my natural treatment even this one right here. Now all of a sudden i have a set back my hair been fallen out i don't if it's the olive lotion that i use or because my hair is in 1 style for about 2month. Ive used the egg protein recipe for many years but i dont use the whole egg only the yolk because as soon as you rinse with warm water the egg white cooks and you get littke egg white particles left in your hair.
