I really like how Mason is always treated as a thread despite always showing up with more budget decks than the rest of the table.... And I reallly love how he took Jake down with him XD .... Good job everyone
@@jakebossmtg4899 Pretty sure _I_ meant "Ironic". There's a movie called "Revenge of the Sith", and in it, a character says "ironic". That scene has become a meme.
@@johnaych8954 Actually, I feel like that's exactly what Jake did. He misinterpreted my quote, and now everyone is telling me that I don't know what I'm saying. I added "Sheev Palpatine" to my comment so that people who have never heard of Star Wars can stop attacking me.
They knew big part of craig's hand after all ('cuz of the cyclonic rift)... but I can understand saltyness can sometimes make us ignore the real threat.
Not a fan of "Kickstarter" being used by established companies. It's one thing if it was a purely Command zone product. But with ultrapro behind it I am not into it.
Kickstarter should also be used to raise money for whatever they're making. The more backers the more they can make. If they already made them and have a limited supply your not backing anything, at this point your just using Kickstarter as a marketplace. Just sell the limited quantity from Ultra Pro directly.
@@TheDestroya88 I can understand using Kickstarter as a true preorder system for companies to know how many copies they need to produce. it allows them to make more games that might have smaller audiences without having to risk over producing, and losing money on unsold copies. I think that is good for a lot of reasons. Using Kickstarter as a storefront to sell a limited number of already produced items is not what it is for, at all.
Attack Manson at 11 life with Zatalpa ? Really, Ashlen? Um, I don't know, Craig is sitting there with practically full life and a Kodama on board... I honestly, really, cannot believe it.
Well knowing that impact tremors is most likely going to kill him anyways in a couple of turns plus he wasnt a threat to begin with. No idea what she was thinking. Like craig had his engine going which they all knew and they all are like nah it will be fine...
Craig should make impact tremors a creature, then put grafted exoskeleton on it. If he wants to kill everyone with infect at the same time, which for some reason I think he does
Have you got a list? I was thinking Delve w/ self mill and things w/ Evoke or free spells like Submerge. Feels like there are a ton of ways to build it wrongly.
Snakes... why did it have to be snakes. Some cool stuff, I always feel myself being drawn to Manson and his choices, they always end up very interesting and different from what you would expect like countering the spell with mana drain to generate a ritual like effect. Very interesting and smart plays I feel always from Manson.
Great reason to play for spite though. Weird to play for second or third instead of fourth, not weird at all to convince someone they should never target you again in their lives.
Can't wait for this deck box... I've been waiting for them to do something like this again. AND Mr. Infect on an extra turns.. doesn't get much better.
These kinds of videos are great. As someone who is trying to learn the "metagame" in commander, if that's even an appropriate way to put it, these videos take something really complex and make it really easy to follow. I just subbed. :)
People tend to get pretty salty for a single Cyclonic rift. At least I'm happy he decided to king make Craig at the end in return for the treatment the other 2 players gave him.
@@ODIRGO Karmic retribution aside, digging for an answer to Impact Temors was the right call. If he pulled a naturalize effect, he could have nuked it before the tokens landed and survived another round.
by the time she got Zacama on the field, it was kind of worthless, Craig just needed to alfa strike her to win. But I do agree that people should have paid more atention to Craig's field instead of focusing on Mason, and mason could have used that beast withing to destroy something else (like tremors) too.
No. Even if a player dies on their turn, the rest of the turn will still progress like normal (just without an active player). The triggers from Xyris are already on the stack (since he was casting draw spells in response to the Xyris triggers), and will still resolve, even though Manson loses the game with those triggers on the stack.
From the rules: 800.4i If a player leaves the game during their turn, that turn continues to its completion without an active player. If the active player would receive priority, instead the next player in turn order receives priority, or the top object on the stack resolves, or the phase or step ends, whichever is appropriate
That blood feud was wild and I loved it. Ash's pop-off was crazy and Craig was just a weapon that Manson used to take Jake out on the way. It was funny.
@@caseywellington4761 Additionally, it means that you don't get the effect before Zacama resolves so you can do some supreme bullshit like copy him or something of the sort. Just thought I'd add that bit in addition to the counter interaction.
I really REALLY dont like how most stuff that The Command Zone does to sell an particular item is meant for a limited time. Some of us do not have the capital to spend willy nilly on everything at the exact moment. I still wish I could get that Command zone Coin but unless someone is willing to sell it to me I had to miss out on it. :(
@@Joescotterpuss by chance do you happen to know what company they use to make those commander coins, I really really wanted those when they came out but couldn't get it.
They are so commercialized its become more about the money, they are on the FOMO band wagon to get people to buy. They're sponsored by WOTC so that says a lot. I mean 60 dollars for a deck box and 15 to ship is just ridiculous. It's surprising that The Prof even does collaborations with them at this point. They're straight up praying on people's FOMO which I feel from watching his video's he wouldn't agree with...75 for a deck box is laughable. I really like Jimmy and Josh but they're pushyness selling products is getting old.
The one gripe I have with this match is that beast within had so many better targets such as the parallel lives or the impact tremors. And if he really wanted to get back at Jake he could’ve hit the sakashima copy which then would’ve killed the token copy making it a two for one
Xyris is a very subtle and dangerous commander because there are many ways to let him flood the board then cause all sorts of shenanigans and mischief. Impact Tremors doing burn, copy shenanigans or infect touching I mean it's literally endless just about how creative he can be for a big 'ol snake!
I was going to fast forward through this add integration then I saw the professor and I had to watch the whole thing love the creative approach to advertising.
Happy to Mr. Infect back. Congrats Craig! Serious question: when is Mel coming back to the show? It's been a LONG time since she was last in any episode!
@@stephenherman6581 I mean, neither are Brian from TCC, Jumbo Commander, Cassius Marsh, Kyle Hill or really many of their guests haha. So, I don't think that should matter. But, who knows (besides team Command Zone).
@@gysahlgemuse7208 My presence or lack thereof doesn't cause players who are actually far better than me most of the time to suddenly lack all sense of threat assessment.
@@mclark347 Your lack of presence is the reason why you think like that. You are in an isolated position and judge everything after the fact. Magic is a social game. If you keep having thoughts like that, this game is not for you, or for any authistic people for that matter.
Really appreciate the amount of effort they put into the sponsor ads, I usually skip them anyway but most channels just have the most boring sponsorhip parts
Impact Tremors, man. I remember running it a while back in my Alesha reanimator that had on-swing token generation. Really damn good card that can kill a board if left unchecked like here.
I think it was an interesting point of play when Manson just Yolo'd and cast pull from tomorrow, too bad it wasn't a hit! Great and enjoyable episode as always
