Its a good idea to always take a ridiculously large amount of money in if you are going for reselling purposes (and of course assuming you can afford to tie up that cash until you sell a few bits). Anything you dont spend is still in your wallet, and you dont risk missing out on amazing items after youre spent up! Essentially no dowmside to taking more than you think youll need

I set a budget too George. Never take more than £30 to mine - only buy clothes though and my boot sale is a really cheap one. You have to hunt hard for good brands.

£50 is not alot to take to a booty. Doesnt matter what time of the year it is, people are still out selling and trying to make a few pounds especially in this time and age where prices for everything have gone up and wages haven't too meet the prices. I am looking forward to hitting the bootsales when they all kick off here. Never buy clothes at the bootsales unless the misses picks up items for personal. Some nice items there tho. Good luck with the sales :)

The Fred Perry black yellow was an easy flip for decent profit even at £6, (then again you had a £50 budget) where was this event if i may be so bold to ask ??? House by the Cemetery VHS plus Jurassic Park special Collectors wow thats nuts that stall alone was the business :)::))

The competition is getting more intense as there is more and more people posting videos on RU-vid and Tiktok on reselling. There is even people live streaming it all over Tiktok on a sunday morning.

Is Leigh on Sea station car park still going through the winter? That was my "go to" winter bootie for over 10 years. Bought some amazing stuff there over the years...including a dozen or so guitars...AND a synthesiser! You should go there George! 😊

If you run out of money it’s always worth asking a seller is they will take bank transfer or PayPal or ask them to save it for you while you go and get some cash done this a few times

Since the new ‘Side Hustle TAX’ law came into place, MORE people are doing buying and selling than ever before Every time I have been in a charity shop there is another seller in there 😂 My first table top sale there were 6, yes 6! Resellers! I thought it would have made people do one 😂

There are zero no new side hustle tax laws. You've always had to report & pay tax on profit from items you're buying to sell on. The only change is that companies now report transactions directly to HMRC

I went to that bootsale, I bought a vintage 1960's ford granada spare wheel tool box, mint condition for a £5, going to sell it for £75.00 + great bootsale.
