Footage of four separate severe thunderstorms which produced large hail, high winds, and tornadoes across the central corn belt on April 16th, 2024. Thanks for watching! My Instagram: / jm.smith_
@@MidwestStormChasing Nice. That was the best part of the chase for me after being on the northern supercell at Houghton, IA right before it produced the tornado and ditching it for the southern one. Chased the latter to near Little York, IL seeing at most a ragged wall cloud and that big shelf cloud, went back to Monmouth to eat and watched the last round roll in; and enjoyed the lightning show on the way home as well.
Thats so nicee calming great video, but I’m confused how these black clouds and hail falling but no lightning, we most of the time when we see big black clouds the chance of lightning to appear is high but sometimes it happens in my country also I see a black huge big clouds and it rains heavy and hail but no lightning, based on that I’m thinking what do cloud needs to have lightning 🤔 they say electric cloud charge are from water inside it but we saw huge amount inside these clouds but no lightning, so what causes lightning 🤔⚡️
