I feel like I missed something in this review. There was the statement that it was a 2-4 player game, but it is a two player game. It was made at the beginning of the video. But then there was never any follow up explaining that statement. So, is it a different game at higher player counts? Is everyone doing the same thing from the overview? Does the turn structure change? Like, it was a bold statement, then never addressed in the video. Was it edited out or something?
While all the mechanics work with 2 players, you can play as teams for both sides (or 1v2). This makes it actually more interesting, as you get to listen to all the discussions of the opposite side, and act accordingly; and having 2 minds instead of 1 can help to see some options you could miss yourself. So, while technically there are only 2 sides and no player count required, we found it to be way more fun and interesting when playing 2v2 or 1v2 (usually 1 killer vs 2 investigators). But in team mode I'd suggest using cards, otherwise the game becomes too easy. TLDR: No mechanics change, you just play as teams, with open discussions.
@@Warchoon so to be clear, you disagree with the statement. There is something to be gained at higher player counts and the game is fun and or different enough to justify going higher?
@@mm-si3qi Yes, though I'd say it's group-dependent. The game itself doesn't change, the rules are the same, there are no different phases, turns or components. But there's something to gain in this deduction game with a teamplay.
@@olgawolko4157 that’s an overly simplistic analysis. How do I know this company, the producers, designers and artists who contributed to this project are in favor of the war? Just because they are based out of Russia does not mean they are in favor of the war.
the tag line "Steven Seagal IS..." worked well a lot of his bigger movies.... for instance, "Steven Seagal IS Above the Law", or, "Steven Seagal IS Marked for Death" but, just like adding "in bed" at the end of fortune cookies, adding "Steven Seagal IS..." to just about any movie title can create hours of fun for the entire family... Steven Seagal IS The Last Airbender Steven Seagal IS Oppenheimer Steven Seagal IS Dumb and Dumber Steven Seagal IS Big and so forth...
I knew someone was going to say this. I don't think it looks AI generated at all. It looks like they definitely used photo references but they don't have the AI look. They look like digital paintings done in a 40's pulp cover style.
BGG lists the artist as "owl agency". I looked for a site and their a mgmt group to represent artists from eastern Europe to global clients. Not impossible it's AI, but its probably legit.
