@@Anthony-zi8vv Candreva's shoulder is not in offside position. The line crossed his shoulder because the picture is in 2D so the camera angle made it look like that. If you look closely, Candreva shoulder is exactly above his toe vertically, which is where the red line was drawn.

What a disgrace for VAR again. Couple weeks ago Ronaldo goal disallowed cause Ronaldo shoulder 2 cm offside. So I though that VAR will use either the farthest leg or shoulder part to calculate. But in this case, the farthest shoulder of Candreva was half meters offside. But this time VAR use leg instead. Now I believe that VAR Blue and Red line is not generated by computer, but manually with human instead. Or one more possibility, If Inter they allowed it, for Juve they disallowed it 🤔🤔

Here are the rules "The law states that a player is in an offside position if any of their body parts, except the hands and arms, are in the opponents' half of the pitch " So now draw that blue line from Candreva's upper left chest, and he is in a clear offside position. Clear mistake by VAR. The guy that drew that blue line must have been a Inter supporter.

I'm guessing the interpretation is Lukaku was in an offside position when the ball was played, but not to him but when the crass came in it was a different phase of play which he was level with the player that crossed the ball.

Rules of offside: The law states that a player is in an offside position if any of their body parts, except the hands and arms, are in the opponents' half of the pitch, and closer to the opponents' goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent (the last opponent is usually, but not necessarily, the goalkeeper). In this case you do not count the hand. So Candreva as the one receiving when the ball is passed, his right foot and shoulder position still behind the second-last Parma player or the defender foot. Still a very close call though.

first, Candreva is not offside, then when receiving ball from Candreva, Lukaku is equal or does not overtake candreva. so that's why a goal was stated.
