I'll take a Venom add-on (maybe Disney can work out and deal with Sony in time for Venom 2 theatrical release) 🤔 I got a 16 year old and an 18 year old Nephews that would definitely nerd out and battlebot with me (kind of wish those controls were larger for my big 👐🏻) 🤓
@@goosey4840 this thing is pretty good for 80 dollars. The shoulder banshees at Disney world are like 65 and all they do is sit on your shoulder and flap their wings
2 different toys if you count those arm / wrist attachments that are $35 (welcome to Marvel Schill Land inside a Disney Theme Parks where they can't use the word Marvel - lol!) 😅
there was a time (not to long ago) when children used their imagination to interact or fight (playfully) with toys! the kindest word I can use for describing nowadays is different!
Got this for my kid (4 year old) a couple of days ago on our trip to Disneyland, he absolutely loves it, cool toy, i only bought him the bot though, no tactical suit since he loves the Spider-Man color way, but I do think it should have been 50 bucks for the bot and 20 bucks for a tactical suit.
$80 vs $1.8k. Not exactly the same target audience. Tachi runs on wheels, but does have slightly more features like camera and speech. Tachi is kind of slow though.
If you're going to Disneyland (Paris) I would recommend you get this instead of a hoodie or t-shirt, I've only seen 2 that were acc worth buying imo. The bot is 70€ and tactical suits are 25€ each (you get iron-man and black widow). It's cool af to have even if you don't use it, it look cute and cool sitting on a shelve. Tho I wouldn't get the tactical suits unless you like them too much. It's Disney we talking about so price is great.
R/C Spider Bot looks cool (kind of reminds me of the tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell), it's neat you have an add-on to customize it (I'd rather have a Venom add-on, but that IP is owned by Sony and they've licensed Venom to Universal). Hope there's a 2nd video showing a Spider Bot Battle Royale (I wish there was a larger control for those of us who have large 👐🏻!) Two Words - rechargeable batteries! 🤓🤖🕷️
These things were flying off the shelves during our visit to CA yesterday. The packaging, the ride tie-in, park exclusivity.. brilliant marketing, even the perfect price point(esp. in a place where seemingly sane adults are snapping up $237 "light sabers" and droids), but what a waste of resources. True 'Disney Magic'
I have absolutely 0 interest in this, but Disney really couldn't have made it with rechargeable batteries and wireless charging? Y'all, a robovac with legs and it can't dock itself?
I get MekaMon is more expensive but I am surprised how mekamon never caught on when its tech is amazing for 250 over this. Also parents buy their kids things way more than 250 all the time and mekamon is just way more badass
eBay. They're exclusively sold at the Avengers Campus at Disneyland California Adventure, but people are already selling them online for at least twice the in-store price.
Give it 6 months to a year, and just like the Droids from Galaxy's Edge? Team Disney will be selling them outside the Theme Park (Schill 'em while you can online until Disney shuts that down).
