I've played your variant and it is pretty cool! It's harder. I've played the défi solo Of Prélude (Reach 63) which is cooler and harder than the regular solo. I've lost... 61... There is a small mistake un your présentation: when you put the neutral Cities, it is Said to skip the illégal placement rather than Counting Them. Good work again! I Will Play with it then on. My gut reaction is that it won't trigger often enough, eve. In my 3 player game the other night I had something like 12 greenery, one special tile and 5 cities. Someone else had about 6 tiles. And the other, had 7 or so. It should be generation based instead of based on the TR track. It would probably only trigger about 8 or 9 times. Ideally the Ai should build 5 to 12 times. However you would want to handle that. There are 14 generations in the solo game. So... what you would do is build a deck of 14 cards. 5 of them would be "ai builds greenery". 3 of them "build a city". 3 of them "roll a die, use lookup chart". And the last 3 "roll a die, 1-5 it builds a greenery, 6 - 8 it builds a city". Shuffle the 14 card deck. At the start of each odd generation, ai draws one of those cards and does the effect. For the even generations it also uses a card but only after your first turn of that generation. Something like that.
