Its a really good idea and with it providing instant feedback to where the ball struck the wall is a good way to monitor your stoke accuracy. Perfect for honing those drills
This could revolutionise squash and give it a new lease of life, especially here in England. A great training tool. How about if all the walls and floor was interactive too? It could show heat maps, target areas, etc.
Hey Andrew, you're absolutely right! We're already working on multiple ways to monitor and display statistics and progress (records, heatmaps, improvement, etc.). Regarding the other walls, this will be available for multiple kinds of courts within the next months also.
I agree with AB a fully interactive court would not only add an exciting modern dimension to training, there are several additional applications that could help to give the game of Squash the 21st century contemporary components the game needs. It needs to be an attractive investment for clubs. The bottom line as always is the installation and marketing costs involved. A brilliant concept.
This thing is amazing! Where can we try that? It seams to be really funny... Do you guys have already some games? - C'est incroyable! Où peut-on essayer? Ca à l'air vraiment fun... Vous avez déjà quelques jeux?
been working on a similar project, can someone tell me what kinda algorithm a wall like that would use? open cv or sparse optical flow perhaps with a camera mounted perpendicular to a wall
