Hello, The black Ray variant looks really cool, great choice 👍. Thank you for your suggestion, I am planning the touring seat review soon. Till then I would suggest you go for it as it is not on point but still much better than the stock seat.
I just also have happen to bought the same bike and exactly the same colour, canyon red Could you let me know if this deluxe touring seat is a worth it upgrade or not because the stock seat is just straight bad
Hello! That's great to know that you have the same colour man, it is very different from the regular colours we get in the RE bikes. The deluxe touring seat is not that great but it's definitely much better than the stock seat. The stock seat for me gets uncomfortable after 40-50 kms of ride, whereas on the touring seat, i could do 860 kms in one stretch. You get a good grip of the tank on it and the extra cushioning adds to the comfort for a longer duration.
Hello, Yes you can. You can also do it before the first service, however it is advisable post first service since the engine is getting used to before 500km first service milestone.
Good review. Would like your thoughts on how it is to handle in bumper to bumper traffic and will it get accustomed as I am planning to change my UCE classic in bangalore.
Hello, You will get accustomed to the bike within an hour of riding it, it's a nice simple machine that makes you feel one with it while on it. In bumper to bumper traffic also the bike is very manageable, you don't feel it's weight when you are on it, however it gets a bit difficult to reverse it due to its weight. The turning angle is pretty good for the city's narrow lanes and the traffic of Bangalore too. You must wear boots though as the engine gets heated quickly, and traffic is when you feel the engine heat most.
Thanks for the reply. Since i am used to the classic 350 heat and usually wear shoes and atleast track pants when taking the bike ig i can manage this one. Will do a one day rental to see different is it a change. Also On the footpegs did it annoy initially ?
