A look around Doncaster Rail Heritage Museum.
Located at the Danum Gallery, Library and Museum, a 10 minute walk from Doncaster station.
The 2 main exhibits being 4771 Green Arrow and Ivatt 4-4-2 Atlantic, No 251.
Also a great collection of railway artefacts.
I visited here on 28th October 2023

Wonderful exhibition I have been there myself takes me back to my younger days seeing the Gresley Pacific's roaring through on the up & down fast.

Thank you for this video, I wasn't aware that there was a railway museum in Doncaster (but it is logical that there should be one). Looking forward to going there now.

Not large but well worth a visit and FREE! If you are travelling round Public Holidays, makes sure you check opening times (from experience).

Im not keen on Eastern stuff, but these two are gorgeous compared to a certain overrated A3(!) Would like to visit and finally see the Ivatt Atlantic, as I've already seen Green Arrow before
