Thanks for these Ben, great to hear the different design decisions and engineering ideas going on behind all the different brands - a lot of variety. Has Patrice ditched the XO sails side of the business? All the promo stuff for his boards are flying Loft Sails - or do I need to wait for part 3 of this edition to find out??

Is windsurfing digging itself down the same hole as we did in the 90ties with those extreem foils? Will it kill the sport like we did in the 90thies? Or does someone take care of windfoiling for the non racing windsurfer? Right now it seems windfoiling is all about PWA and foiling is anything else than windfoiling

It’s the curse of the sport. If you fly and feel happy, and someone passes you, next stop is the shop to upgrade to faster gear

Just switch to Vieste freestyle event. When I windFoil, I don't care those that pass me, because I never foil a straight reach. Plus every jibe I curve way more than anyone...

Exocet have the Freefoil for non racers. I've found their boards for many years have been user friendly. 1st Exocet I had was the Cross I had was in 2006. Before that I had AHD boards from the range in blue, which he designed. As Patrice said he doesnt like extreme wave boards which are too slow, he prefers a faster early planing board like the Cross.
