I've heard that vairab in indra chowk is considered as aakash vairab because when there was a fight in heaven between the god and demon,a demon choped the head of aakash vairab and the head fell in indra chowk from sky so that's why it is considered as aakash vairab 😇❤

He is also known as Kirateshwar Mahadev. The Pashupatinath temple Nepal has an origin that dates back to the Kirat era. Nepal's oldest statue (Birupakshya) from Kirati era is inside the Pashupatinath temple. Birupakshya statue was built by Kirati people in ancient times. One interesting fact about the Pashupatinath temple is that the caretakers and priests are the Indian Brahmins. This tradition of having Indian Brahmins at the Pashupatinath temple was started by the Malla King in the 14th century. Another fact about Nepal is that there was no Hindu caste system during the Kirat dynasty. The coming of the Licchavis introduced the Hindu caste system in Nepal after they defeated the Kirat. The Malla King later modified the Hindu Caste System with the help of the Indian Brahmins whom he invited. Ever since the Indian Brahmins were appointed as caretakers and priests of the Pashupatinath temple. Now we must make changes again. I found out that the World Tallest Yalamber Statue is built at Panchar Bato, Khotang. I love it. If possible, we should also make a statue of Yalamber in Kathmandu. Yalamber was the first Kirat King who established the Kirat dynasty in Kathmandu valley. Also if anyone visits Nepal, visit Khuwalung and Chyasal. Khuwalung is a historical and religious site for the Kirat people. While Chyasal is a small town, north of Patan in the Kathmandu valley. Chyasal was a place where 800 Kirati soldiers died while fighting the Licchavis army who came from India. Kiratis defended the Kathmandu valley bravely against the Licchavis. This place Chyasal was the final battlefield before the Licchavis defeated the Kiratis. This is how the name Chyasal came to be. Chyasal means 800 in newari language. Another thing. Nepal should make a movie about King Yalamber and also the battle at Chyasal between Kiratis and Licchahavis. This way Nepali history will be saved.

Lot of misinformation here.. kaal bhairab is not Shiva. Infact that is not even a bhairab. Its still unclear what, who he is. You cannot just name someone as bhairab. He is holding the 4 heads of brahma not one as you can clearly see. He is standing on top of vishnu and is wearing the skin of Shiva. That statue was discovered underground no one knows who constructed or designed it. So noone knows who he is. Get your facts.

What about Kashi bhairav ? I heard Bhairav himself came to watch jatra from Kashi to Kathmandu in the form of a human but one tantric recognised him and tried to captivate him but he disappeared down under the earth and upon request of mother earth when he tried to come up that tantric cut down his head and to symbolise this story there is Bhairav statue only upto his head.
