13 years in CFS in Manitoba is honestly a life sentence like he says. Don’t take that lightly, I now work with youth in the system and have seen it all. Very proud of this young man for overcoming his past and everything he’s been through. ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

When I came home from the foster home I was hit with a stick by my older brother and flew across the room into a shoebox where I stayed till I asker the mother where I would sleep. She asked the older brother and he threw my jacket to me and a piece of wood was my pillow. That was my welcome home to my family and the abuse continued. I was 6 years old. Today Im estranged from my bio family and they arent being accountable for the abuse I suffered. Thats intergenerational trauma and I want them to be accountable. Im accountable to my son, why cant they be accountable to me??

The worst is how they are labeled as "helping" children when actually they traumatize them and virtue signal about it.
