Love your explanations of what, why and how in interior design. Most design videos show homes. I would love to see design options for smaller condos though, say around 700 - 725 sq ft? How does one make the best of a smaller confined space? And how do we make it look less like a box?

Your design speaks to my soul and by far are my favorite designer. I am currently ficing up our newly purchased place. But my couches are those heavy leather pieces very closed to the floor. Im thinking of replacing the legs with higher ones, dying the couches white. WE Already started prepping the floor for high gloss epoxy white, open the space and then want vertical floor to ceiling white mini kitchen. I wish you were here. Do you think industrial/loft interior is evergreen? I can see people applying its elements in their interiors all the time but it looks like the demand for this sort of interior items is not stable.
I love the industrial style. It's a warm and particular style. I think if you like it and it makes you feel comfortable doesn't matter if it's a trend or not. personally I would incorporate some details in this style in my space, so in a future it would be easier if I want to change the look of my room. (i always prefer to have a neutral backdrop and general space and add particular details and elements)

Why are we decorating based on the latest trends, or categorizing the trends according to the years instead of the characteristics of the trends? I agree with minor redecorating, but I don’t think anyone would want to limit their canvases to a trending style of any specific year.
Hi James! Styles cannot and shouldn't stop evolving, in a few years today's tendencies will be a specific style in the future, that is the natural process of art and design. In my opinion, the contemporary style is very neutral and allows an easy adaptation to other trends, and as I always say, each person must design their space to their taste and according to their needs, trends and styles only serve as a guide! In the end, the important thing is that each person feels comfortable in their own space.
