Depends on the model, I believe it came standard on the higher end models (7 Series) in 2016 and was an option on other models. I got it on my 2016 GLE, but it was a $310 option. However now it is standard. Then to make it more complicated there were different versions, a 3 color, a 12 color and a 64 color. Supposedly the 3 color was actually just the 12 color, limited to 3, and could be made 12 color with some software hacks.

Can you change the lighting colour for the rest if the interior to match the colour that you want. I've picked blue but all the remaining lighting such as seats etc stays orange
I have a 2013 mercedes cls and the ambient lighting in in there I checked on the doors but I cant see what you showed everything is there just abient lighting isn't, why is that if the ambient stuff is in the car ?
Hi guys i have a Cls 2011 350, about the ambient lights i can't find anyhere in the settings how to activate the lights on, i can see that the "lights" are in place everywhere where it should be but cant find anyhere the swtich to turn them on ? any advice has anyone had the same issue ? Thanks!
