INTERIOR SWAPPING MY 97 F250HD OBS POWERSTROKE 7.3 WITH 2016 INTERIOR.Removed old seats and installed 2016 leather ac/ heated seats and center console with rear a/c
I’m leaving the country for 3 years so I’m selling F150 and saving up so I can do this when I get back I can’t wait till your gone your giving me a lot of hope that a modern interior can be done with an OBS
Would be cool to get some 6.4 interior/brown leather seats/interior in my truck like what DG is doing to his. Got some good cloth seats in my 7.3 f250 now, they’re great, but they’re still from 1993 from another f250 along w the carpet & rear seat for my ext cab ext bed.
Yes and no, I’d say it gives it a modern touch and luxury but in the old body with the trusty motor. I’d like to do this to mine, it would really give it that extra push to be the new old daily.
Holy shit craziest shit is my build that I’m gonna build of an 87 Suburban that’s lifted and I’m going to make a 2019 Denali XL interior Hopefully I’m able to get it done by the end of the year old next year🙏🏻🙏🏻
Like to see that dash swap, as I'm doing an 09 Dashboard swap in my 97F250HD reg cab truck. Just in process of collecting all the pieces and wiring harness for the new dash assembly. And the steering wheel/column assembly.
Bro, that's dope. I have a 96 F250 with only 79k miles. Whats up with your blue prints. I'm just getting around to working on the truck. I got it thinking I'd flip it but I love it.
I just picked up a set of seats and a middle console just like this, and I was wondering how easy/hard fitting the middle console was. And maybe some suggestions you have for that part.
Would you happen to know the best place to find oem style style door panels for these trucks that aren't complete crap? Or would it be easier to swap over a newer style door panel to the older trucks?
I have a '97 f250 that i am completely rebuilding frame up do you have any pointers or video of swapping the dash and all the wiring and everything inside dash and complete interior???..anything will much appreciated and helpful... I AM A ROOKIE VIRGIN ...LOL.. MY FIRST TYM ..THX AGAIN
I have a 89 f250 ex cab I'm trying to find info on doing a interior swap so I can have locking seat belts for the kids in the back but can't find anything online about what years would work if you have any insight I'd really appreciate it!! But sweet as truck man looks amazing
What did you do about the airbags in the front seats or do than not have them? Also does the power seat work and have heat? Looks great, planning to do this to my bronco..
Airbags are still in seat my truck does not have factory airbag so I just didn't connect them. Yes power and heat / AC works in seats Zach McFarland has a video on how to wire them
Yeah yeah yeah.... I will make a video when I paint it....hahaha. been focusing on trying to get this truck lifted. I will get back to the making my truck great again videos after it's built
Amazing. Just picked up my OBS build. 1996 ford f250. So these seats are out of a 2016 ford f150? Or f250? I'm also going to do n engine swap in mine. And reuse the engine in the truck now for a 1970 torino build. It looks Amazing. Great job brother.
@@Wyatt.6oh I have plenty of room. I think factory seat is bigger. but there is plenty on knee room . look at some of my videos to see. maybe it will give you a better refence.
Did you take part of the wiring harness from the 2016 for the power seats and all of the hook ups inside of the truck? I have a 1991 F 350 and I’m thinking about doing a similar interior swap.
Did it take much modification to get the dash or door panels in? I have an 01 with the blue/gray interior and I really want to put in at least a 2008 or newer interior, but my fabrication capabilities are limited.
@@overbudgetobschannel4584 I am thinking the same thing for mine...full f250 superduty dash and center console...Do you know if there is a model year that newer door panels would work in our obs trucks...
The rear a/c vents, where did you attach the pipe to the old pipe and does the a/c fan blow hard enough. The fans on the one are weak anyway. Thanks in advance!
I made a full fiberglass tube that is probably 6 in wide by 4 in tall.I cut a huge square underneath the dash for the air to come out of with a fiberglass inlet tube.and my AC will freeze my ass out of this truck for some reason so it don't have to blow that hard but you are correct blower does suck.
I am wondering if he used f150 interior especially for the dash because I have been told the super duty dash is to wide does anyone know witch interior I need F-150 or super duty?
I’m thinking of doing an interior swap on my 94, only issue is it’s stick and I want the center console. Should I keep the full console but have cutouts and a boot or would you not recommend the full center console?
Hey I have a question. What issues did you run into fitting the dash to the firewall and were you able to get all the electronics to work in the new dash. Ive got a 1996 F350 and I really want to update the interior.
Shawn, I just got the same interior froma 2014 F150. Mine looks to have the same rear seat set up (out of an extended cab) and the seat mounts to the back of the cab. How did you install the seat back for your truck?
@@overbudgetobschannel4584 Hey Shawn, I am not on Facebook but I did send you a linked in invite. You have been a huge help so far as I am installing the interior as well as the AMP steps and I'd love to talk with you about these and other planned mods. Thanks for reaching out. I look forward to talking to you soon.
