I like the fact that Skyghost kept looking at Anomidae after they stop dancing. They no longer care if the player suspects anything, they are clearly embarrassed that the player saw them dancing.
I theorize that the "ghost" trapped inside lucy wasnt just playing that music because it wanted to, it was probably the default sound that it could play to scream for help
Also another theory i have is that this might be the original "Mona" Eida trapped because at some point it escaped (from a theory i saw) so eida captured other, this might be the original one, thr original "mona"
Pretty sure the animation lucy did at 35:14 was the "on fire" animation, that means they've been burning from the ent_fire command he assumed did nothing and drowning for a very long time, if we're dealing with actual sentience here, that is some pretty brutal stuff. Also the heavy smiling at Anomidae on the way there is some actual blink and you miss it stuff, love it. That being said, I hope Anomidae's lack of auditory spatial awareness becomes a running gag in the series, because holy crap for someone with an intimate knowledge of the source engine, bro has NOT played much Counter Strike if he couldn't instantly triangulate the exact XYZ coordinates on the map where radio1 was playing from. That game will train your ears to hear a pin drop and know exactly how far it fell and where it fell to.
i get the 'where is that coming from?' complaints but I mostly read that as 'ok which of these things is making the noise' followed by 'there's no fucking way the thing I made is making the noise/ getting too nervous that it was making the noise.' Also, isnt ent_fire command just the command for lighting in general?
i thought ent_fire was for "firing" or triggering a routine/script/event edit- oh he DID use ent_fire to set it on fire lol, internet was crapping out and watched it at like 240p
What's interesting is the text being generated by the FSKY server in maps is likely due to Eida creating similar text in his maps to communicate with 'ghosts' and then using the send command to upload the map into FSKY's dataset for the map generation algorithm. Eida unknowingly was sending unwanted training data to the server and the FSKY admins had no idea where it was coming from
unironically tho why is there a correlation between type-5's dancing like its happened twice now (3 times if you count the fsky ad) seriously whats going on
A few things I found of note. When Lucy explained to us how runtime worked, she was drawn. They possibly didn’t want to use the “Presenter” model because it was possibly haunted? When the “Presenter” model was playing Distorted Trumpets, it was doing the exact same dance animation as the FSKY commercial.
I think it is linked to the beach type 5 demo as that demo might be when the Mona obsessed guy captured either a dmnpc or an umbrella man and forced it into a female model ... due note that "mona" is called olive but Mona simp chose to ignore them spelling olive and unintentionally set it loose so he caught a second on which Is most likely now what redness the lights as the dm editor might just be sfm
i think it makes more sense to say that the type-5 npcs are scared of the interloper. in all type-5's, the pov entities are helpless and powerless while the interloper has all the control.
@@avalancherelapse I agree, also the way the terrorist kept raising and lowering his gun when looking at the umbrella seemed like he was really unsure what to even do in that situation And in some cases the POV / DMNPC straight up runs away from the anomalies
If the Umbrella Man and the demos are connected, wouldn’t it be more accurate to say that the Type 5s might instead recognize em? Remember that these aren’t generated, probably, but “demos” that someone had to record, possibly stored on the server Anomiidae lost connection to.
so i took a closer look at the presenter in the water and here's what i found: - You can see an outline of flashing color, especially on her hair. So there's probably a flashing light (I'll call it a buglight, since this flashing color is a bug in sfm) behind her. - Contrary to what many others believe, no it is not dancing. And no, it's not an on fire animation, at least that i can find. I've gone into sfm and looked at all the built-in hl2 animations for the zombie, normal combine soldier, prison combine soldier, and alyx. The closest i ever got was the combine's bugbait animation, but it still doesn't look quite right. Instead I think this is a sort of type5 scenario where the 'npc' can move freely, or a very simple animation (like one that might be made in the sfm demos) - The presenter's legs are using IK. The feet are locked in one position and don't move, the legs just seem to interpolate to where they should be The animation: To me, there's a few possibilities. 1. It's a type5 scenario, and the presenter can move freely. There's not a whole lot of evidence for this, but the model does seem to move realistically (until snapping to the A pose while staring at the player) 2. It's a super simple animation, possibly made in an sfm demo type scenario. This is possible, the key poses do look a little strange, though not as strange as the sfm demos shown earlier. Looking closer, the animation seems to have 2 main key poses, that it linearly moves between. The model using IK would also explain the somewhat realistic movement. Theories on the presenter: - The radio01 (or whatever the sound file was) could be a cry for help. - The presenter could be trying to stop herself from drowning - The presenter is some sort of higher intelligent type5 npc. I saw someone else theorize this, but skyghost/presenter could be smart enough to know to avoid something like a flying viewpoint. It could be seen as an umbrella man. Hell, maybe anomidae is using umbrella man for the player model, though it's probably more likely that it's the default hl2 player model. However the hl2 player model does have a similar-ish feel to the umbrella man. Another skyghost?: - Just before anomidae finds the presenter in the water, he flies by a heavy, who on the last frame looks straight at him with a large smile on his face. This is likely to be the ERROR we see earlier on. Perhaps there's more than one skyghost? the presenter does not have any face controls, from what i can tell, so we haven't seen a skyghost change the face of a model. Someone else noted that anomidae spawned ONE of each model in source. But later, we see 2 heavies next to the presenter. (31:57) I propose that one of those heavies is another skyghost. A friend to the first skyghost? A stranger? The same skyghost could also be controlling both, however that leaves the massive hole of the presenter reacting to being drowned (and possibly on fire invisibly). - It's difficult to see, and entirely possible that it's just lighting, but the heavy on the right (which is in the same place as the smiling heavy) seems to be making a sadder face than the default. - I will call the presenter skyghost Skyghost1, and the heavy skyghost Skyghost2 Cryptic ending: After "13. Thanks for watching!", you may have noticed some glitches. These, of course, contain some secrets. 1. For a single frame, "14. hi" appears. This is probably just a joke lmao. (hi anomidae) 2. After that, we can see a scene made in SFM. There is a heavy who has no textures, and a floating character in a chair, and another heavy with no textures to the side. Heavy1 clips through a door in the background. He has his left leg slightly lifted and his arm outstretched. The character falls to the floor, looking at the camera. It's difficult to figure out what model this might be. The model has long pants, long sleeve shirt (with something at the ends), and shoes that have physical laces on them. It's possible that this is a day of defeat soldier model with full black textures. Heavy2 just vibrates all over, using the motion blur to make the scene a little messier. There's also a "made with source filmmaker" facing away from us in the background. It's difficult to figure out what exactly this means, but perhaps the sfm demos are creating videos now, more complex with more than a single model. Maybe, **they're growing.** Strange behavior: Thewhat proposed that we may not be able to entirely trust Anomidae or the Project Skybox team, or maybe even both. When the presenter is dropped into the water, we get absolutely zero dialogue the entire time. Checking the captions doesn't give us anything, like it did when the portal crash was recorded. There's a few possible reasons that this could be: 1. Someone else did it? Well this is fairly unlikely, as Anomidae is not surprised that the model is gone. 2. Anomidae did it secretly? Still doesn't really explain the lack of dialogue, since this is his own home, most likely. 3. Anomidae is in the wrong state of mind, trying to replicate eidamona, and/or feels guilt over what he is doing? This is the most likely scenario. Up until now, eidamona and Anomidae have had vastly different ways of investigating this mystery. Eidamona has been known to torture the npcs to try and get them to be more active. Now Anomidae is trying to do a similar thing. He talks about how damaging the npcs gets them to be more active. He mentions that there aren't really ways to damage something since they don't have weapons. So, perhaps he tried to drown Skyghost1 in order to get it to do something. In fact, Anomidae's "oh shit" doesn't sound so scared, but rather like he's suddenly caught or discovered something, or perhaps something he tried *succeded.* It's also worth pointing out that although Skyghost2 seems to smile when Skyghost1 is about to be drowned, this could just be Skyghost2 moving the face controls very high in surprise/shock, without having a full grasp of what exactly they do or look like. So uh ig i accidentally made over a page of talking about the ending. oops. maybe i'll try to make a video at some point lmao.
Just so you know, the cryptic scene after the "Thanks for watching!" appears is just the original teaser for SKY//BOX from his older video "Source Filmmaker 10th Anniversary Into." I don't think it has much meaning.
35:15 going frame by frame, you can see that while the presenter is moving, the outline of her hair is shimmering, like that light in helmetcreek and the model doesn't normally do that from what i've seen, so something's probably up
@@KlazGuy but it's strange that it only happened at that exact moment and the flashing light did intentionally appear before (flashnuke, helmetcreek), so we can't automatically assume that it was just a bug
One thing I noticed that when Lucy is playing the trumpet song and hitting the nae nae is that she's specifically looping the part where Judith is saying "Gordon, can you hear me?"
With Type 6 demos, you can actually observe their ending behavior in a few clips and they match other types when there is nothing to do and the camera are spasm in place. This could mean Type 6 isn't actually a new type, rather we've only ever seen the end of them which tells us a lot. Remember we normally have finite time to generate demos, in context this can be inferred to mean that once all Type 6 reach their end state then the time window closes. This also means if we figure out "why" they are doing this we might be able to force it. This entire process seems to be like clearing a cache or cleaning up to prevent memory leaks, as observed by how they are deleting objects and especially their behavior with things which have "living" actors. This also means we can potentially force Interloper to start, if we can insert enough of this data as any cleaning system likely has an emergency start up trigger. We just have to figure out what this data is exactly and we can force spawn enough. Since it got stuck in a new open map, we can further infer that it interacts with closed maps which fits the above theme of cleaning up. It needs something to become inactive. So assets and closed maps with intensely filled maps taking longer. We can use these observations, if correct, to possibly extend the window of Interloper or force Interloper to run on our terms should we lose Skyghost for whatever reason.
That last part was genuinely the most unnerved/creeped out I've felt since umbrella man sent you to the void way back in the first portal video, very well done!
on 31:57 it gives off a very uncomfortable vibe its like something instead of someone is controlling the character and putting the anomaly in the water
What I think is interesting is that its very similiar to one of the lost type 5 recordings if I remember correctly, only this time its from a different perspective
@@Bammesgecko absolutely reads like a type5. the watching of the viewport-perspective character leading to the t5 npc being drowned, i wouldn't be surprised if all t5 npcs ended up being long-term runtime experiments that ended with that.
This video was primarily reconfirming everything we already found out from the Interloper 8 investigation, and suspicions on FSKY and what not but it was still a nice little hype moment to have that happen and see so many shout outs. Despite that I feel the investigation is going to be far more morally questionable from here on out. Anomi is going to see Eidas treatment of Mona and start to "Damage Trigger" his own DNPC to get a response out of it. This is going to really blur the moral lines from now on. Unless of course it starts being more cooperative like it might be by the end of the video. Also disappointed he didn't bring up the 2021 map from his old archive channel that one is a pretty important plot point.
Well, there's so many fucking parallels between EIDAMONA and ANOMIDAE channels (these 2 words are also an anagrams to each other) I start thinking it's just a channel of an older Jan (EIDA's real name)
he didn't bring up a lot of things like the hidden messages in SFM, Type 6 going to other maps in void, shoe jump scare in one of the demos, Eida interloper POV and a lot more maybe in the next video?
Spite lol waits for him to upload just so he can update and make thewhats info obsolete. Dudes re-uploaded and added so many chapters to the same video at this point
Who wants to bet Anomi is an Umbrella Man to the Presenter? Edit: Like, the Presenter has some sort of relation to the Type-5 POV entities, is smart enough to hide from Umbrella Men, and thinks Anomi is an Umbrella Man.
My theory as to why there are so many types 6 showing up is because fsky is aware of the sudden gain in interest into the interloper mystery and are in fullblown panic mode trying to delete as much evidence as possible into their "experiment"
one thing i actually kind of like in this series that i don't like in others are its jumpscares the build up is so obvious and you know it's going to hit you but it still sends chills down my spine and makes me jump after it and afterwards kinda just sitting there like "that's a dumb thing to get scared by"
Well, from what we saw in the Eidamona entity capture video, these things aren't really confined to anything unless you force them to be (and even then, they can apparently still "escape", including taking over control of the player inputs in other running source games). So it could be the same entity controlling multiple objects/character models, OR there could even be multiple entities there. Remember, the interrupted demo (which is where the entity likely came from, since we see in that eidamona video that interrupting a demo is a critical part of the process) did include two distinct entities: The malformed heavy, and the POV character that started acting like a type 6. In any case, this whole sequence of events confirms that the entities can see beyond the projectskybox process (at least into other source games/demos being played, if not beyond), and it definitely makes it look like whatever is inside Projectskybox is intelligent enough to intentionally mess with Anomidae.
Shit was intense and scary and then lucy started hitting that yoinky sploinky HARD! Loved it so much. I hope in the end this is all some silent hill dog type scenario.
30:29 im sure that error was left by an interloper, remember back in the cs source type 5 when you loaded up the demo map. The places where the interlopers where there was an error sign, Skyghost might not have moved at all so as to not alert the interloper that was snooping around in projectskybox
im guessing he didnt put her in the water, right? all the other times he talked EXEPT when he drowned it. Plus he acted surprised when he heard the radio clearly coming from where he whould have put her. Im guessing that its probebly someone else that put her there without telling him.
But wouldn’t he have been concerned if the model he was supposed to keep an eye on just vanished? The model was put in the water on the 4th of March and Anomidae noticed the radio was on the 15th of May. Thats a-lot of time for him to notice that the model disappeared. I believe that the surprise came from the model fully moving before going back into a A pose.
what do you mean "someone else," that doesn't even make sense. he was surprised because it takes a long time to see any changes and probably simply got bored and forgot.
@@lightningkitten March 4th doesn't have any commentary. It's pretty reasonable to assume it's a different person, or Anomi is developing early memory problems
@@ghoust592 that's the thing, it doesn't have commentary. if this happened without his input he would absolutely have commentary on it because that would be insane. there's nothing to suggest another person did this; the author's intent here was not to suggest another's input but to create suspense by taking so long.
Ok, so I can theorize that the entity trapped in the scientist model is Umbrella man, as when trapped, the command stopped working and only projectskybox appears to have abnormal activities. The Umbrella man can be the “Source” to all anomalies there.
@@lightningkitten I mean, when you look at Interloper ep 8/8 of Eida, (apparently) the one entity being trapped inside that female citizen model is Umbrella man, and they also display no similar behavior to its original form anyway. And the ERROR entity, we actually have no idea about it. Only thing we can theorize is that the entity trapped inside the model spawned it, in this case, the Umbrella man.
@@zanertheslayer2407so earlier, Anomi mentioned Eida’s method of inflicting dmg on the “body” to make the entity inside interacting, but he also noted that no command or weapon in the projectskybox mod available. So the only way he could come up with is drowning it.
an interesting thought but i believe these are meant to be very old demo files, i don't think they would have been considering countermeasures like this at the time with virtually no public knowledge of their existence.
It's unlikely to be intentional, since the original comment on that demo expresses confusion as to what it even is. It's still possible that the entites have some attachment to this soundbite in particular, but I think it's more likely that this whole sequence of events was just meant to strongly illustrate that the entity inside projectskybox can see/interact with what's happening in other source processes/demos on the same computer - Kind of like how demos in one process could be seen by/influence the "source void" in the Portal RTX anomaly. Remember, we see a very similar situation at the end of Eidamona episode 8 - Where their confined entity starts messing with a separate HL2EP1 game.
About that skyghost is most likely a dmnpc aidamona trapped which might be an umbrella man As the dmnpc uses the name olive And the umbrella man model file name is called olive
As one commenter said, it's playing the part where a character says "can you hear me, Gordon?". It's probably a cry for help. Notice how it stopped the second Anomi found it.
He loads one of each Source model, and then later we see Skyghost near TWO heavies, and then a Heavy smiles at him near the end of the video. The Error, whatever it was, definitely loaded in was a heavy once the models were in the mod
Seems the skyghost used the zombie burning animation.... also the same audio part repeating... tho its an iconic music part everyone remembers. Like the others said, maybe a cry for help because yeah, you might have not any direct hit dmg, but you forgot the drowning system. So we can figure out 2 things by that. 1 skyghost uses a song from hl2 ik repeat on that specific noteset, could be investigated if there was an audio file created while you hotplugged the other source files into the mod 2. Damages still exists from the game, but not entity wise dmg, one thing that proved it is the drowning system... iirc it uses the trigger_hurt type of dmg, which is mostly used when props hurts you, or killbarriers when those are created... Last bit, even if you have no weapons, entities can creates damages, magnusson device, combine bomb, red barrel, and even the rotating blade from the traps still have a point of dmg on those if thrown fast enough (think the sawblades too when you gravshot them) Since adding npc's or weapons should require a restart, assets that have those properties shouldn't. You might go look into it ;) Have fun speculating people ! :D Edit : fixed some small mistakes + spaced out the points so it hurts less to read it lmao
well skyghost was underwater for a bit over two months so even if the hurt trigger wasnt there if it was me id prolly call for help after being underwater that long
@@Ice_Slayer88-lq6il true, true, but maybe like Mona, it took time again to try and find something and make it work out to interract, the Mona was able to put letters and stuff like that after giving this ability, but movement and sound is something to be done too. So maybe by the runtime and the fact they were trapped this long, skyghost was doing like Mona did, instancing an animation and a sound since everything else didnt seemed to work ? This could be another point to check, when that happened, we havent seen the console being up to see what events occured before, when it happened and after, maybe like the dmx files, there is maybe an hidden message along that. Something i thought about too : When trying to spawn a half done model or a non existing one, it gives this error, but in console it also gives WHAT the model was supposed to spawn... could be interesting to check too if it happens again 👀

@@blockyround2160 It's kind of an open question how much distinction there is. They might both be similar constructs, just operating with different guidelines, so to speak.
Skyghost facinates me for several reasons. Those being: A: I am assuming it was using the mic feature in TF2 to play the distorted trumpet sound. How did it get that sound, and how did it find out how to use the tf2 mic? B: how and why was there a banging noise when the mic being used? C: why does it dislike the water? is it "drowning'? Does this imply that the skyghost has the ability to actually feel pain unlike your standard npc? Also, my theory for why skyghost exists is that when projectskybox was loaded with that model, the accidentally captured whatever skyghost is inside of the model. It's as if projectskybox acted as the right conditions, and the model they placed acted as the trap/host for the skyghost. Also, what if they set up ten's of projectskybox-like rooms to try to capture more skyghosts? Absolutely fascinating.
DMNPCs are able to fully interact to the world and enviornments around them, IE they can feel pain from not just in ingame things like gunshots but also drowning and other sources of harm as well. It's possible that it was trying to communicate with Anomidae with the mic telling him that it's trapped and it wants to be free.
@@TheWardenEngineer No, the what show addressed this because the voice line means for missing audio file. The line in misty also was the dmnpc calling for help, but there wasn't audio file for it. Same with umbrella man appearing. It also makes a sound but missing so the dr kleiner's voice line is heard.
@@hmm4774 where does it get used for the umbrella man spawn sound? in misty it could've just been the dynamic npc trying to speak 3 times while the umbrella men simply have no spawn sounds (unless the spawn sound is also the sound they use when they get aggressive). So unless i lost something i don't think it's confirmed.
I recently binged this series, and my favorite part of it is that it doesn't feel like a lot of internet horror, there's no real creepypasta element apart from the Type 5 demos. It reminds me, more than any ARG or horror series on the internet, of deconstructive parody works like Discworld, just played for horror instead of comedy. The essential thesis of the series is "there's this secret console command that plays weird demos" and the ENTIRE series is about an alternate reality where this is a real thing and the modern, real internet is working on ways to solve it. Many people's first thought would be to brute force demos to get more info, so they develop a macro program that launches ten Source games at once and spams the command. Another person's thought would be to test it out in a completely hand-crafted Source game, so they create their own branch and do experiments with it. When a new concept is introduced like the void clones inside of Portal RTX, they don't solve it by doing some kind of spooky mystery. Someone has the very smart idea of using the tools already present in the Source engine, that being Garry's Mod's cameras, to do 100x the work with only a tiny amount of effort. It's a ridiculously smart series, and it feels ridiculously real. It's authentic. Stuff goes wrong, not for spooky "my ghost is in the computer" reasons, but just because they're humans. Anomi accidentally loads a GoldSrc game instead of a Source game, they try experiments that don't work. Eida, meanwhile, feels like the perfect foil to this. Eida, while being very Source savvy, is extremely superstitious and gullible. They feel almost like a parody of your usual ARG protagonist, the main group feel like scientists whereas Eida feels like the Blair Witch kids. It's frustrating just how close they got, but were limited by their belief of ghosts in the machine. But you can't even be that mad, because if I uncovered this stuff all by myself in the late 2000s? Yeah, I'd believe ghosts were real and one is in my computer! It's easy to side with them because A.I is NOT this advanced in real life, but at the same time it's very easy to take that as a suspense of disbelief. Bottom line, it's a masterpiece.
I saw the presenter watching, but it was so obvious I thought she just had head tracking enabled Also I hope there's some in-game significance to Eida and Mona being an anagram of Anomidae, but they showed up so early in the series it may not have been that far thought out yet
Part of it is likely to show that the two are reflections of each other Both are unreliable narrators, one being biased towards making a tulpa girlfriend and the other clearly hiding something They each are tackling this with opposite mindsets. One supernatural and one purely scientific And they both have managed to capture and are now torturing a DMPC in their own custom worlds to try and get reactions
I feel like the anagram thing is just signaling how similar both of them are. Anomi is performing the same actions as Eida, with harming the DM NPC and cutting out parts of the dialogue/video
This is also not the first time the 'Head tracking player' npc was noted. Eather in the manifest or somewhere else I remember that in one map there was a Scout from tf2 embedded in the wall and if you clip into it you can see how its head is just following the player. After some time it just 'zoops' off into who knows where.
Hi, as Machine Learning Engineer, I see what in messages they’re talking about machine learning terms like “overfitting” and “it’s learning how to type”. Looks like they have some custom made neural network to generate maps, now it’s starts to get more interesting for me😅 UPD: Now I have crazy theory, maybe interloper anomalies created by some neural network which randomly makes some events during the game, but again it’s just a theory, need to think more about it, also this theory can explain why anomalies are not in files
Jesus Christ, the tf2 vc demo feels like one of those dynamic sentient npc things feels like it found a way to communicate, like a radio or something and was banging on a door, trapped
yeah wasn't there a server that's been running for years or smth (or a year i don't remember) that had that problem of the game being screwed up im pretty sure there's a video about this
i wonder if the skyghost possibly attempts to "possess" every model or prop or what not in the map, and maybe if it runs out, thats when it creates those errors.
we can see that in some demos "hi" and "goodbye" appear in chat. Definitely correlated, but why is that also appearing on the editing side? i'm so damn curious too
@@DiggeiMikemaX It might be the entity reaching out, if Anomi edited this video on the same PC where Projectskybox is running. As the ending demonstrates, it can see (and likely mess with) what's happening inside other source processes, at least. So maybe it can interfere with non-source stuff too.
@@BackwardsPancake oh yeah you're right. plus intros and outros are getting more "fucked" the more he's investigating... Also in the outro the thing that is "annoying" me the most since ep1, is the "frame#" thingie.... there's space for 8, yet 7 are there, one is missing.... WHY IS IT MISSING?! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! (probably nothing and i'm wasting my time)
My theory: drawing from thewhat's theory, i think the heavy from the tf2 server cutoff demo split into two entities, a dmpc and a crasher, and i think both of them made their way into project skybox somehow. I think the rogue dmpc inhabited lucy's body, creating skyghost, while the crasher made their way into the map along with them, hence why there is an entity other than skyghost that reacts to the player 34:37, the heavy that smiles at anomidae. This heavy model must be the crasher, as why would anomidae spawn two heavy models 31:58, when he only spawned one of every other source model. instead, what i believe happened is that after anomidae spawned all the models, the tf2 crasher was given its heavy model back, rather than remaining an error sign, which it was on february 16th. finally, during the march 4th segment at 31:55, and this feels like a little more of a stretch, but i think potentially, the crasher leaves the heavy model and controls the player model, taking skyghost and placing them in the water to hurt them as its been shown that crashers can no longer delete entities once fsky servers are offline. this part of the theory kinda lends to why anomidae would be confused at skyghost's absence and why he would take a while to find them in the water, it was not him who placed them there, plus, it seems crashers/umbrella men have a history of trying to kill dmpc's by drowning
holy moly and or macaroni this is the best theory for the skyghost drowning ive seen yet! this explains why anomi is silent on march 4!🤯 BECAUSE HE WASNT THERE!!!😱🤯🤯🤯
what if instead of interloper it was freakyloper, and instead of the umbrella man chasing down type 5s he got freaky with them and instead of demos we were seeing videos of their freaky actions together
People are saying that anomidae drowned the lucy model but i don't think that's correct. Literally the next clip you can see him being completely clueless on where the trumpets are playing, which wouldn't make sense if you know where the model is located. Either someone from the project is sabotaging this, or someone else somehow took control.
to me, when the error model showed up it looked like the skyghost was trying to act like a normal npc. she quickly turned her head back when the player showed up. she probably is trying to hide the fact that she's a dmnpc
This has probably been said already but I wanted to point it out. Apologies if I'm simply repeating the obvious or talking stupid. Anyway, what I wanted to say is this: I think water, and things related to it, like drowning or sinking, is an important symbol in this ARG. A lot of important events are tied to it. For example, Spookycoast in 1 ends with the DMNPC being pushed into the water and drowned. Or the type 5 in 4 that ends with Ellis sinking into the ground, with the sound of entering water and the HL2 drowning sound effect. Or the in 5 with Day of Defeat, that ends with the helmet being carried off by the water. There's also the type 5 in CS:GO that has the DMNPC sinking down to a lower level. The higuy demo also happens near water, although it's not entered. Anomidae only gains success with void exploration in 5 when he goes downwards. Also there being a type 5 demo called "Misty". And in this video, the only part of Anomidae going around in project skybox that isn't commentated is when he puts the Lucy model into the water, and it being in the water is also when skyghost is seen moving that fluidly. I probably don't have to point out how the umbrella men relate to water, either. So, what does this mean? Well, I'm not really sure. All I can see is this is something that has been repeated a lot, and usually in a story, if a certain phrase or symbol is repeated a lot, that means it has some importance. Usually. And I'll admit some of these could be seen as stretches. And I don't think it's the *only* symbol in the story, either. For example, being trapped in the walls or a box is also something that repeats often in the series. But whatever the case, I think things that have water, drowning or sinking are important for the reasons above, though only time will tell what it symbolizes, if it's even as important as I think it is in the first place.
Something I forgot when Eida deletes "the Mona", the ragdoll is sinking into the floor and the HL2 drowning sound effect plays when the red error hits it. And unrelated to that, I searched up what "Eida" meant, and according to Wiktionary, it's a Norwegian word meaning "isthmus", meaning “a strip of land between two seas”. Considering FSKY is based in Norway, that might also have some meaning.
Right at 35:54 just after "13. thanks for watching", for one frame (You probably need to be on a computer to skim through the frames using the , and . keys) theres a "14. hi" idk what this is but i just thought i should say cause nobody else seems to have seen it yet!
At 30:26, you can see the error spawn in as skyghost raises her left arm in its direction Her arm is lowered again only after a few frames (go frame by frame using , and . on your keyboard)
So the Heavy smiling at 34:48 might be an instance of multiple type 5 Umbrella Men finding hosts to use for potentially venturing more DMNPCs. Also I love how Lucy was just staring daggers at you when you caught her dancing, she doesn't care if she got caught anymore she's just embarrassed.
One of the heavys might be a crasher As for Lucy she might be olive our captured umbrella man forced to be Mona by edia as edia lost a Mona npc and caught a second one as the current Lucy might just be olive
I'm still curious if that giant head is one of the models that was left out in the void from your first void exploration, the one from Counter Strike. Like it went out there and got stuck and changed somehow, possibly getting lost in another map and making a crude copy. Still loving this series.
This video came into my recommendations and im very confused about it, is it part of a series? I thought this was a documentary or something but it probably isnt idk.
@@lainetainton8661 Welcome to the series this is part 9, I recommend you start with interloper 1, the whole mystery will make more sense and be more enjoyable
The dance the Lucy model was doing is the one that the FSky girls were doing in the ad, huh EDIT: The way she just stops and looks at anomi like "oh shit you saw that?
its weird how there were banging noises within the tf2 voice chat which could be something is trapped and trying to get out. what's also weird is that distorted trumpets was playing in both terminals of tf2 and projectskybox, maybe it's a certain code
